He got injured but was on pace to have a career year in targets. How was Rodgers not giving him another chance?

I think this is a valid point because there is definitely a decent sized risk by giving Hill a big contract. He is really one lower leg\knee injury away from being just another guy.

But I would have still done it because we had 3 unicorns and I would rode with them until the wheels feel off. :)

100 percent. I just resign Hill.

But I was willing to listen to the optimistic take of us hitting on draft picks and using cap space well.

Then the MVS signing felt like a gut punch.

What signing would've felt okay for you?

Go damn this is dumb.

The MVS signing makes complete sense, and that’s coming from somebody that’s not a huge fan of the signing.

You don’t have to love a move to understand it. This is typical “I know better” bullshit.

You can’t replace Tyreek, but what you can do is have speed ALL over the field. The Chiefs offense relies on speed. They signed a guy that is really fast and should hit the ground running.

Trade for Lockett or Cooks.

MVS at a lower $$$$ number.

You know a good analogy is when OKC had Durant, Westbrook and Harden and then after they lost in the Finals they traded Harden away because they didn't want to spend the money and be in the luxury tax. I always thought that was the dumbest idea ever and they never got back to the Finals.

Personally, I would have kept Pringle. Pringle was starting to become a pretty good RZ target for Mahomes.

JuJu made Pringle expendable.

We need a deep threat and that's certainly not been Pringle.

Isn't everyone all giddy about getting a deep threat in the draft like Christian or whatever his name is?

If you're going to toolbox the WR position, you still need to add a guy better than JuJu.

He keeps correcting the press on the pronunciation of his name - MarQWEZ vs MarKEZ.

Good!! We need some toughness and if he can call out Teicher that would be wonderful

Watson. That guy is going to develop into our longer-term answer at receiver. MVS is just bridging the gap and giving us flexibility.
