I don't know if I am playing next season. Getting too old. :( |
We barely beat Arsenal, too. Scoreline flattered us, tbh. I scored completely by accident. We didn't go up on them until they went down to ten men in the second half.
We should get a team together to play in the scrub division lol |
i ate some center-cut bacon and eggs last night.

I have a question for you guys.

7 sounds good, Mr. NewPhin. Real damn good, in fact. By the way, were you aware that the opposite sides of a die always add up to the number 7? Well, actually it's dots ... but if you count the dots on the opposite sides of a die, you'll find that there are 7 dots.
Meanwhile, I really do have a question for you guys ... it's pretty important, too ... After discontinuing the morphine sulfate, I began picking up weight ... about 7 pounds, so far ... and that's in just a tad less than 3 months (it will be 3 months on November 4th). I never diet ... never needed to. But, clearly, my metabolism has shut down or something. I googled up some stuff, then I cleaned up and did an internet search and discovered that weight gain is fairly common after coming off these drugs ... didn't know that before (thanks again to my secretive and practically worthless physicians). Anyhow, I need a good diet for losing this 7 pounds and something that will keep my energy level as high as possible. Can you guys direct me to a diet that you would recommend? Either on the internet thing or a book or whatever? I need something that has proven to work because I don't want to screw around. I can eat just about anything that isn't rusty or moving. I rarely eat beef, though ... (some of my best friends growing up were cows) ... some chicken and fish ... very little pork (Mr. Hog Farmer has cured me of that) ... I juice every week (carrot, apple, celery, cucumber, kale, etc.) and I make protein shakes (the Gladiator stuff from Smoothie King) that contain a banana, frozen strawberries, and honey. I have one of those about every two days, or so, as a meal replacement. I would prefer a diet that doesn't leave you hungry all the time, either. I am exercising daily (walks & free weights, along with crazy, high-energy, rock guitar stuff that works up a sweat as well as out-of-doors activities involving shrubberies and the lawn and trees and things). But, apparently I need to think about a diet as well. Thanks in advance for any assistance you might provide on this matter. FAX |

I know when I was on anti-depressants, they just gave me carb cravings, which continued as I was coming off of them. Caused a lot of weight gain. Remember, it only takes 100-200 extra calories per day to put on quite a bit of extra weight in a short amount of time. As for a diet, figure out your BMR as a first step. Use this: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ Don't account for your Daily Calorie needs. That's inaccurate and won't help you lose weight. For me, at 170 lbs, 5'11", my BMR is about 1800 cals per day. So, once you know that, just figure out how much you're actually eating every day. I recommend lots of fish. Plenty of protein, EXCELLENT fats that promote weight loss, and they keep you full for a while. Apart from that, lots of raw leafy greens. They have extremely low calorie content, but because they have a ton of fiber and water, they keep you full. You don't need a "diet." You just need to take in less calories. Let me know if that helps. |

I've fasted for 4 straight days for about 18-20 hours at a time. I've averaged about 400 calories per day, and I've done 2 hours of lifting, and 2 hours of soccer while fasted. I was hungry at first, but now, I'm having to force myself to eat some protein because I'm just not hungry. |
Nutrition question please:
My "breakfast" is comprised of two slices of whole grain bread before I hit the gym. I work out in the early morning. I lift then do my cardio. I then go to school and take a container comprised of a mix of 1 box of Rice A Roni Four Cheese(powdered cheese product)made with no butter or milk, and mixed with a couple of cans of veggies. I eat half of the portion one day, the other half the next. I then hit the gym for another round of cardio after school. After the gym, I'm back home and I usually make up one(already grilled then sealed and refrigerated) chicken breast or boneless pork chop on a 12 inch tortilla(120 calories)with a little bit of cheese blend, some salsa, and a handful of salad mix. That's dinner. Does that seem like a pretty decent diet for weight loss and protein content? If not, what would you change. I've hit the wall on the scale, so I'm looking for any answers/help. Thanks! |
That sounds good to me. Especially with all that exercise.
What are you drinking? |
