As others have mentioned, his time away seems like it was a real eye-opener for him and after a sample of retirement, there is no question that he is nowhere near retiring.

This only stoked the fire the within him. Perhaps to the point he fears retirement. Whatever it did, the man in that presser sounded like a spry veteran coach ready to take this program to another level. Whatever that level is, I am not sure....but others should fear.

I think Self is in the bench, he gets the offense back on track and we beat Arkansas. Winning it all? I don’t know about that.

Hopefully he is refreshed and takes his place and is recognized by the sport as the best coach in college basketball.

You have to wonder about these transfers, was it just a bad situation or does the transfer want to own the ball, be the man among men etc.

Tang recruited him to Baylor. I would think he would follow him to KSU.

Nike hoops summit is on but no future Jayhawks. The Holland kid going to Texas is playing fantastic.
