Nothing wrong with that.

Cool. Mainly I was just wondering if rice was maybe too loaded with carbs or something of that nature.

It's about calories, not carbs.

But if you want a breakthrough, give 0 carb a try.

Eggs, meat, cheese FTW!

I could get down with that easy.

One thing I like to do on 0 carb is drink crystal light 0 sugar, 0 carb drink mixes to get my sweet fix.

Eat a lot of eggs. Fry 'em, scramble, soft boil for variety. Bacon, sausage, etc.

Filling and it works.

Pork rinds, too.

It doesn't matter *what* you are eating for weight loss, only how much of it. I could get down with a Twinkie weight-loss diet, provided you didn't eat too many every day.

Good enough. Thanks!

NP. BTW, if you've hit the wall on the scale, look in the mirror. Are you getting thinner, and putting on muscle to offset the fat burn? Or have you just stopped losing fat?

If you've just stopped losing fat, then you need to eat less.

Silock 10-27-2010 11:41 PM

This thread is super-slow now. We should probably make a new fitness thread, and have this one locked. Yes?

I'm putting muscle back on too. My rep-weights are increasing each week, so there's a bit of a balance going on.

I think it's a sign of success, Silock. the thread being slow.

Any of you guys ever give this a shot? I just started it today, I'll let you know how it works out.

A lot of people in the thread do creatine (and yes, it definitely works). Not sure about that specific brand.

I am completely for this. I had a question the other day that had already been answered a number of times before, so I didn't want to ask it again. I ended up spending a lot of time going back through this damn thing...it's gotten too big.

Also, you'd think if a new thread was started with a different thread title, some other people might check it out. I know when I first saw it I thought it'd be a food log not a everything fitness thread.
