I can apply maximum effort towards focusing on the "noticeable" areas. I can experience a quicker rate of growth by hammering the upper body 3 times a week. I'm not lifting for sports anymore. I'm lifting for personal looks and the university where I lift at provides nothing for the lower body other than a squat rack.

I don't understand the maximum effort thing. You can hammer the upper body 3 times per week along with the legs, too. If you're really worried about it, why not just make an entirely separate leg day?

As for equipment for lower body -- what else do you need? You've got a squat rack. If you were going to do deads, well, there's the floor. What else is there?

Again... just asking. Not judging.

When I "hammer" the upper body I spend about 45 minutes doing so along with 15 minutes for warm up = 1 hour. Do legs on top of all that? Is that overtraining? I'm already lifting 3-4 times per week on upper body.

I would be willing to bet that there are some upper body exercises that you could ditch to insert a leg exercise.

I mean, you really only need 1 good leg exercise every other day or so (like squats or some variation of those, deadlifts, or some other free weight based leg exercise), and a 5x5 set takes about 10 minutes. Shouldn't be that hard to find time if you really want to.

Silock, just did your leg routine form this post this other day. That is killer. Still feeling it, but I definitely am planning on doing it again this week.

20 hrs into my first fast(including sleep time). I'm past the point of being hungry, but I still want to eat :/

Will try to finish the whole day out without eating and eat breakfast tomorrow making this about a 36 hr fast including sleep.

Fasting rocks. When you haven't done it in awhile it just rips the fat right off you.

Just had a killer workout, enjoying a protein shake.
