Lifted full-body for an hour. Followed it up with 2.5 hours of soccer.

I am in pain.

But another game in 6 hours, so... yay.

Got another one in today (Friday). Lifted Monday, Wednesday, Friday that completes my first week after a two month break. I'm taking this weekend off to relax and recover from the soreness I've endured. I look to lift Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun next week though. I ordered a 5 lb tub of protein tonight, I've got probaby a couple lbs of protein left and some creatine left. I will turn to the creatine once I start to plateu. I've been lifting just upper body but look to incorporate some squats down the road. Working on limiting the soda to 1 a day and drinking once on the weekend. My next trip to the grocery store will consist of better food choices. Drinking more water. Been taking 1 scope protein before workout. 2 scopes after. 1 scope on off day. Feels great to be back on track!

It's been tough for me to lift recently. I've been lazy. I'm thinking about halving my workout and doing upper body one day, lower the next.

Remember: It's probably more important to get enough protein on your off day as it is on your rest day, as that's when your muscles are still doing a lot of growth.

What's the source of the laziness? Too tired? Doing too much in your workouts?

Not exactly. I'm just suggesting that you get an average of 120g per day, however that is achieved.

maybe I'll got a scope and a half. I'll probably just piss the excess down the toilet?

There's no evidence that you will. I've yet to see any actual scientific proof that there's a limit on how much protein you will utilize at once.

If your body needs it, it won't get rid of it.

I don't see any reason not to start taking the creatine now. It will take a few weeks for it to fully saturate your muscles, anyway.

Just don't feel like getting off my ass. Probably be easier if the workout was shorter.

I'm back up to about 2 miles running, got there much faster than I expected to. A little bit of soreness, but nothing too bad. Still eating well. I'm shooting to end November in the neighborhood of 210. Last year at this time was when I was putting on weight, so I'm a lot happier with myself at this point.

ChiefsrGood 11-06-2010 02:38 AM

Bulking shake: 10 oz of 2% milk, 2 tbspns pb, 1/2 banana, 1 scope whey.

GOOOOD

Do it! Simplify!

My workouts now take me 45 minutes from start of the warm-up to the end of foam rolling and stretching. 3 days a week, in and out. Bam.

Win!
