I think it is fair to say Kansas has underachieved just a little based on some of the teams they have had under Self. But the NCAA tourney is so crazy too. Can't really blame Self as much as some people do.

Personally I thought it was kind of an ugly game, especially in the first half. I think KU played poorly. I thought Villanova didn't take advantage of everything given to them in the first half, I felt Nova should have led by about 10 or 15 based on KU's performance.

The call on Graham isn't as bad as I thought after seeing replay. He did take out the guys legs..

But we should stop hating on KU. should they probably have a couple more final fours and maybe another championship based on the talent they have had? Sure, probably. But so should Duke, Kentucky, UNC... It's March.

Usually, it's just KU Connection. And after each of these types of losses and my responses, I send him a note, like I did early this season.

But man, this loss has set off the natives.

Self is an abysmal tourney coach. It's just the way it is. 2 FF in 13 years with an avg seed of 2 is pretty sad. He did get us a title (I was there live) and I'll always be grateful for that. Just bums me out he's so bad in March
