You may be following your weight a little too closely.

If I lift and gain, I'm good. The cardio stuff is for the Doc alone. I hate it, but he whines if I don't. 30 minutes of workout I'll never get back...

When you see yourself in the mirror everyday, it's hard to gauge progress. And if you're doing two-a days, 5 days a week, totaling 12+ miles of cardio a day in addition to lifting, one needs a little gratification, a lb at a time.

I was there in my 20s and 30s, but in my 40s, I'm OK with just lifting what I want (plus what the Doc whines and cry's about). I workout with my older son most mornings, and I'm having a blast. I enjoy it more now than ever. He's built like a brick SH (wrestler!!!), but I just love the time we spend together lifting... It's the best room time I've ever had..

Dude, that's just water weight. A pound of fat has 3,500 calories. Do you REALLY think you ate 10,500 calories in SURPLUS in 2 days? I *highly* doubt it.

Why are you doing so much? That is completely ridiculous.

Good to know. Thanks man. We DO drink a lot of water in these parts, especially if one works out.

Stop doing so much.

60 miles of cardio per week plus 5 consecutive days of lifting is WAY overkill.

What are you trying to accomplish?

As low a body fat percentage that a 39 year old can achieve.

And the lifting isn't consecutive. Lift 3 days, take two off. Lift 3 days, take two off. My lifting regimen hits the entire body, one area/workout at a time.

I've tried the Tony G.'s products, APS (All Pro Science) and they are phenomenal.

The down side is he sends you an autographed picture each package. (In a ****ing Falcons uniform)!

But he makes Veggie protein and the animal protein is made from grass fed whey.

First thing: Do you know EXACTLY how many calories per day you are eating? I don't mean guessing. Are you logging it?

What EXACTLY is your lifting routine? Exercises, sets and reps.

I'll have to put this together tomorrow, I need to hit the hay. I can't be eating more than 1300-1500 calories a day, but I'll put the math together for you too.

You need to do it for yourself, too. I have my doubts about 1300-1500 per day for you, especially if you're doing THAT kind of exercise intensity and volume.

How long have you been doing this?
