I guess K will have to nurse his disappointment with those 2 titles

DaneMcCloud 03-26-2016 10:26 PM

I love you all, except for PostRockPablo/GonzoRox88/Pablo.

He's a twat.

As for the rest, I'm sorry for your loss.

KU should be a Final Four team.

Yep, and going on a theme from these threads all year, the tournament isn't a crapshoot, but it is a format where you only have one game to play against the #2 seed, and if you turn it over and miss open shots, you're out. Bummer that we have a game like this now, but that's what makes the tournament so tough.

Also, I'm not as down on Ellis. He was bad early and missed some gimmes, but Villanova did a great job denying him opportunities, so credit to them. He can't recover if he doesn't get the ball.

Has anyone started next years thread? I'm ready to talk about the returning team and incoming class...

It's not easy to admit you're full of shit, I know.

Moreover, I'm far busier now, and have far more responsibility. I simply can't afford to be emotionally devastated anymore.

Sure it sucks, but there's not ****all I'm going to do about it, and besides that, I watched a hell of a lot of good basketball played with KANSAS on the front of the jerseys this year. It's happened before. It's happened to most other ballclubs. It's just the nature of the beast.

But GODDAMN 2008 was fun. I'll take winning every day of the week.

I should also note that I've had my ass handed to me in so many aspects of life, including almost every sport I've ever played to not be able to handle a defeat.

Are you going to claim that Ned Yost is a Carlos Correa mishandled ground ball away from getting lucky one year and then choking the next? And before you get on my dick, I'm a Royals fan, and the point I'm making is that what you're saying about Self's luck in the 2008 tournament also applies to the Royals in 2015. That's how ridiculous it is.

Suzzer is a dumbshit. Pay no attention.

That was only the 3rd time he scored less than 10 points all year and he had an inexcusable 4 turnovers for a guy who isn't a ball handler and was denied the ball for much of the game. There's no question he wilted tonight under that Villanova defensive pressure. That said, he was a huge part of getting them as far as they did this year. Bragg will be in tough to replace his production.

2 even teams, no surprise we lost. It's the long run with Bill that's disheartening

One could easily make the case that you're a more embarrassing and pathetic troll than Dane. You both throw out these ridiculous baseless narratives (Self being an underachiever LMAO) to cope with your own issues and make others feel bad, but unlike Dane, you actually know better.

In addition to being tied with him in wins in the NCAA tournament in his time at Kansas, Self is also tied with the "best coach in US sports history" in losses as a higher seed since 2004 (which tends to happen when you're the only two programs that are consistently great every season). Duke and Kansas should probably just get rid of both of these chokers, though, before they can do any more damage to their brands.

Still waiting for Dane or PB to tell us WHO should be the coach at KU instead of Self....
