Keep supporting all of your arguments with something that happened at a time irrelevantto what we're talking about.

I did not find the actual post/tweet...but I did find this post from another board that references Chip Brown saying the total payout for the two schools would be closer to 60 million, and that Chip Brown predicted a final exit fee of around 17 million per school. Take it for what it is worth:

You are are just reflecting on having a good...season.

This will go down as one of Missouri's best seasons. Of course THIS season looks much better than recent history. Do you think it's uncommon for a BB program to have a great season every once and a while...and then return to where they were previously?

Rattle off 3-4 more <7 loss seasons...then I think you can start talking about how your program is ascending.

Congrats on a great season.

Congrats on a great season.

Your concern for Mizzou basketball is appreciated.

In Saul's defense, most Mizzou fans do see the bball program as ascending because Quin Snyder took Mizzou to the lowest level of basketball hell. Mizzou is nowhere near the top, but they have come a long way from the horrible bottom Quin left us.

No....I don't judge a "program" by one "season."

How is Oklahoma's BB program looking? They were looking great a few years ago.

Saul, I think I know the statement to which you are referring. It's from memory but I believe Chip Brown originally stated "up to" 30mill per. Not that they would pay 30mil but he did say something very much like you stated.

I don't know where you're getting at here, but you're pretty much proving my point

I would say that they're descending. Wow, that was easy.

In '09 OU went 30-6. Do you think they were talking about their program ascending after that one season? I mean, it was their best record in recent history.... A sure sign on their program on the rise.

...This year they are, what, like 14-14?

My point is, don't judge the state of a program off of one great season....

If you don't like that response you can neg rep that too....

All I know is I'm glad Nebraska left. Not only did Osborne shit on the conference going out the door but now I get to watch every Nebraska game AND get to see them play KU again? (presumably) This is great.

Every "good program" starts with a "good season" based on facts of course, that or common sense.

Did I hurt your feelings?
