GoChiefs forms his opinions from others opinions. That's what happens when you're 30 and still living at home. You can't think for your god damn self.

Yes, it's true I used PFF and Dolphins fans as research into Sean Smith's abilities.

I'm sure you watched every ****ing snap he played last year to form your opinion, eh there, sport?

**** off.

I think they overpaid for DeVito, but he did have a market.

Let's also face that this team sucked against the run for a while. This guy's calling card is run stuffing.

I think he's a solid player, but they need another body on the line.

You're right.

And there's definitely more to a Corner than picking off passes, or Deangelo Hall would be the highest paid corner in the NFL, but Sean Smith is 6'3 and gets his hands on the ball, he just doesn't come down with them. And when you're leading the league in passes thrown your way you need to come down with more than just 5 INTs in your career.
As previously mentioned, Brandon Carr had 6 at the same stage in his career.

There are other parts of his game that deserve criticism.
He plays like a much smaller corner than he really is. He's not as physical as you'd imagine in run support. He's not a fluid hip-turner.

When he concentrates, there's no issue with his hands.
Lack of concentration is a significant issue. One I have no interest in arguing. It needs to change, BUT...if you can watch that clip and come away thinking he has stone hands, I'm not sure what else to tell you.

Did he say that San Fran went to the AFC Championship?

I'm glad he has soft hands that DROP INTERCEPTIONS.

I'm glad you've reduced the cornerback position to how many passes you can pick off.
Where the hell is Mark McMillan when you need him?

mcaj22 03-14-2013 06:05 PM

all these deals are front loaded for spending this year and they can get out of most/all by year 2 or 3. the only deal that sucks is DeVito cause two of the years are garunteed and he sucks.

but if all these stop gap cheap farts arent cut or replaced by year three, then you roast the FO over hot coals like you did Scooter for the same crap. They will have these guys replaced by year 3 with young draft talent and you wont even remember or care about year 1 with dunta fartinson turd smith mike poopvito and all these other JAGS just keeping a seat warm

I haven't, dipshit. But the claim was made that he has good hands. He doesn't.

So went from being cheap to paying over market value.

Or was it market value?

That was a pre-season game. So again, he still hasn't made an extraordinary catch in his professional career that has counted.

I don't know how many targets Carr had last year, but Smith had the most targets in the NFL his way last year, and QB's didn't let up the other years either. He was a receiver in college, so I'm not surprised that he has the ability to catch, but he hasn't shown it in the nfl yet.

Unlike Pioili's assfarts, most of these guys are good players.

People were tripping over their own dicks praising Stanford Routt last offseason.

You're right. You actually drew a direct comparison between the quantity of interceptions and the quality of his hands.

So Brandon Carr's hands are trash too.

Much better.

I really don't give a shit, dude.

The bottom line: Sean Smith will probably blow most of his chances to grab an INT this year.
