Fewer votes than the GW team that the Cats just took to the woodshed.

I don't take much stock on the coaches poll. They don't have time to worry about some team that they never play and grade them. They have plenty of other things to worry about (like their team, their assistant coaches, recruiting, etc) than some school that is 900+ miles away from them.

AP is better than coaches anyways.

that's one of the biggest variances between the polls I've ever seen, if not the biggest.

The way the team has played, it's understandable. My guess is KSU's early play completely dropped them off the coaches' radars, and some of what they have done since has gone unnoticed by many.

KSU is a dangerous team with some really nice pieces, though.
