It's going to be really interesting to see what Seattle does in the draft next year.

They WILL lose Okung. They will lose Mebane. They will lose Irvin. I bet they might be able to keep Wagner.

They've already lost their LG and C and are replacing them with average at best players. JR Sweezy and projected starting G Alvin Bailey are both FA's too. At least one will be gone.
Nickel CB's Burley and Lane are both FA's.
Jermaine Kearse and Ricardo Lockette both FA's.

The Seahawks are About to go through what he Ravens went through in 2013 after Flacco got paid. Massive turnover is coming.
They've already downgraded at LG, C and CB opposite of Sherman.

Better hope Schneider's drafts will keep producing good players.

It's irrelevant because Seattle would never give up Wilson for two first rounders, anyway. He's far more valuable.

Oh, I bet they would.

At some point, probably within a year or two, Marshawn Lynch will hit the wall. He has 300+ carries the last four years (including playoffs), and 340+ each of the last three years. He turned 29 a few months ago. The chances of injury or a dramatic drop in productivity are getting pretty damn high.

I don't see why that's a big deal.

We need to pull the trigger on a R1 QB anyway...so it's an extra first for a proven one...and a big contract, who cares...HE'S A ****ING QB. THEY GET BIG CONTRACTS.

Not that hard.

It's gotta be a rd 1 QB? Really? Where was Wilson drafted, again? :)

You can't keep your arguments in line. :D

Yes.

How ****ing obtuse are you at this point that you would even entertain the notion that this franchise should pass on a R1QB?

I actually never said that, but you like to make things up.

My point was, that Wilson was NOT a first Rd pick, yet he's the end all be all that you'd trade for. I would too, just not 2 firsts.

They draft well to begin with.

He's not the end all be all. This is a trade discussion about him. I'm sure a lot of us would rather have trade for Luck. So you would rather keep Dee Ford and Eric Fisher than trading for Russell Wilson?

Wilson is shit behind our line. Unless it improves.

Last 10 drafts

EJ Manuel
Luck
RG3
Tannehill
Weeden
Newton
Locker
Gabbert
Ponder
Bradford
Tebow
Stafford
Sanchez
Freeman
Ryan
Flacco
Russell
Quinn
Young
Leinart
Cutler
Alex
Rodgers

You've got 3 (Flacco, Rodgers, Luck) for sure QB's who are very good or have shown to very good and 2 that are 2nd tier at best (Ryan, Stafford).
And we've had a chance to draft only 2 of them in Flacco and Rodgers.

That's an 8% rate over the last 10 years out of 23 QB's that we passed on that were available to us. Your bitching is so annoying dude.

Maybe, just maybe, Reid doesn't think any of the QB's to come out the last 3 years are worth it. I'm trusting him over you.

You're missing Bridgewater.....who we DID have a chance to draft and we SHOULD have ****ing drafted.
