Newman is as average a player in memory. Decent handles, somewhat average shooter, average defense, can rebound a bit, seems to think highly of himself. KU needs bodies but he's little more than just that.

I don't notice that part, maybe it's just perception since he's such a huge recruit. But I've been pleased with his on court persona. If anything, maybe needs a little more fire and enthusiasm.
