Not that this is at the top of his list to worry about, but in a situation like that, I assume that you won't get any Social Security in your old age because you don't have a long enough earnings history. So what do you do when you get out and you're 75 with zero income? I guess you probably do the food stamp and TANF thing, so the public still ends up paying for you.

An innocent bank teller probably making minimum wage trying to scrape by has a gun stuck in her face and threaten with death.
