I think we need another thread just for bad Twitter takes.

That’s basically the DC forum in a nutshell.

I can't believe you have the gall to even ask that question right now. Very insensitive.

We could also just use the score when the game ended to determine the outcome.

That's a very reasonable thing to do.

(Checks the score.)

Yep.

that's really unfair to buffalo, their points per game average is going way down

Probably need to make sure the Falcons and Jags don’t merge though. That could be a PR nightmare.

Right but I'm planning on the divisional round tickets I bought either being on the 21st or 22nd, which was safe to assume and previously published. My availability for the 14th, 15th, 16th or 29th isn't the same, and a reason I didn't but wild card or championship game tickets.

Merge Chiefs and Cowboys. Talk about a juggernaut

What's wrong with "The Jalcons"?

Combine Bucs and Cowboys?

BucBois?

Balto 01-03-2023 03:22 PM

Ok I'll try....

Instead of taking away a wild card team and going back to the old 6 teams, how about just do something crazy and go from 7 to 10! Give top two seeds a bye like how it used to be.

IF Bills want to forfeit both games to give players time mentally. Then adding three more WC spots doesn't screw up the Pats getting in automatically because the Bills forfeit. Players/Owners/TV everyone would make more money expanding the playoffs.

Then Cinnzy can't complain about WHAT IF Chiefs don't win and they can get that #1 seed because yes they might still only get the #2 seed BUT they do get a bye week which would be a good compromise regardless if KC beats Raiders.

This would mean that on the AFC side, the Steelers, Jets and Phins would get into the playoffs. Thats a lot of TV ratings IMO

Would look kinda like this:

#1-KC Bye
#2-Cinzy Bye

#3-Bills vs #10(Phins or Steelers or Jets)
#4-Jags vs #9(Phins or Steelers or Jets)
#5-Chargers vs #8(Phins or Steelers or Jets)
#6-Ravens vs #7-Pats

Yes its crazy but damn that would make for a very exciting Playoffs! Looks like on the NFC side teams like Seattle, Lions and Saints might be the 3 extras. Makes the Bucs getting the #4 seed with maybe a 8-9 record not taste so bad.

FLAME AWAY

It would be better if they inverted everyone's record.
