None of those previous slow starts involved your franchise QB battling a calf injury that has lingered for two months.

Right. Because coming back from knee reconstruction and then the next year, having appendicitis, surgery and an infection, while losing about 15lbs, is so much easier than a pulled muscle in your calf.

Do some of you not watch anything NFL related other than Chiefs games?

I’m sure it’s a difficult and unlikely strategy, but the current strategy is all but impossible anymore.

Couldn’t be any worse. You might catch a team off guard once or twice.

Sorry, but I think you guys don't quite understand. You can't really aim a football like that when you kick it. It's going to plow through the air like an egg-shaped knuckleball; the odds that it spontaneously changes trajectory well before it covers the 10-12 yards is 99.9999999999%. It might drift one way or the other kind of predictably, or it might get a little spin and nosedive into the ground. The point is that the laws of aerodynamics would be fighting you all the way.

It'd be pretty tough to try and hit a person from 30 feet away kicking a football at him.

Your explanation makes a lot of sense. His legs do look pretty dang skinny, lol

I was shocked they said 'muscle pull' cause i sure as hell didn't see any muscle below his knees! o:-)

Why should we be interested in the life story of a barely-above-.500 QB?

You sound scared… and you should be. LMAO

A similar lingering calf injury forced Andrew Luck into retirement.

Just saying…

Don’t post GIF’s of your family members.

At least we're off the "Mayfield is good" hype train again.

Pasta Little Brioni 09-26-2023 04:12 AM

Burrow and Luck may be a perfect comparison

Chiefnj2 09-26-2023 06:06 AM

The NFL needs to look at onside kick changes for the future. It is such a low percentage now it is a bit of a joke for teams to try to come from behind anymore.

The biggest thing that stood out this past weekend of football was the atrocious clock management at the end of games. Raiders, Rams, Vikings and Chargers could all use some Dick Curl.

lol bengals mortgaged their season to barely beat a shit Rams team "the bengals are back baby"

FloridaMan88 09-26-2023 08:34 AM

This is the last year for this Bengals offense, with Burrow surrounded by all of those WR's... Tee Higgins is a free agent next offseason, Joe Burrow's contract will start to significantly impact their salary cap, etc.

And so far they are not off to a good start.

Al Bundy 09-26-2023 09:54 AM

The Buccaneers got beaten soundly in the trenches.

Just a slight correction that they still have a few years left with the exception of tee Higgins. They’ve got most key guys locked down or they’re young. But otherwise agree… this is probably their peak.
