Can't wait to see what he does this week. :) |
Have fun in Oakland Sean!
SB Nation NFL @ SBNationNFL-Sean Smith says the Raiders lost because the team lacked “effort and enthusiasm.” But it’s preseason so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ http://www.silverandblackpride.com/2...en-bay-packers |

Figure Berry will get on board this week.

Nice to see Tamba out there moving around. Looks good.

For the last 3 years everyone has been saying Bray will be cut that year.
Just sayin... |

Saw Tyler Bray, Charcandrick West and Phillip Gaines at practice today. Bray worked with the 3s, Gaines with the 1s Good. |

He literally fumbled it away. Reid's post-game remarks and general tone was one of obvious frustration. I think Murray may have played himself right off the team last weekend. Bray will get his shot this week and if he can show anything at all, I expect he'll displace Murray. And if he looks as shitty as he looked in week 1 (arguably worse than Murray looked in Week 2), Reid may just flip a goddamn coin at that point. |

Reid said he could have played in the Rams game... |

Then why the **** didn't he play? We have an important decision to make about #3 QB |

I'd be shocked if he's on the roster. |

Not sure whether I'm pleased as punch or scared as f that Tamba and Charles aren't wearing any kind of knee braces at practice today.
|
Yeah, I messed up my mcl a little my Sr year of high school and had to wear this massive knee metal thing.
Times have changed I guess. Now they rip it in half and come back wearing a little neoprene sleeve |
Tamba's looking like he's lost a little weight.
|
Quote:
He could either lose weight or lose quickness. Losing a little probably won't hurt him while hand-fighting but losing a little quickness surely would. And with his knees, it's an even better idea. Leaning out a little, even at the cost of some muscle, would be a good idea for Tamba at this point. |

So I take it as a good sign. |

I keep waiting for a surprise " hey, we've activated houston off the pup, he's ready to go and oh yeah, Berry's back" tweet.
Wtf |

It's staylor we're talking about here... |
Does Berry have a twitter? Somebody needs to call him up at home or something.
Hey E have you seen our run defense? Pllleeeeaaaasssseeee return. |

Why would someone disdain o city?

Just saw a tweet. Chiefs 23/1 to make it to the SB. Who's confident enough to put $100 on that action? That would be a nice return.

Mostly jealousy. It's my world, they're just living in it

I'm the eternal optimist when it comes to sports (only when my team has management/coaching I believe in), but if you had a philosophical discussion with me you would quickly find out I'm kind of a nihilist. |

Nah I got whooshed by someone who got whooshed.
They did hire a sports psychologist to help him "deal with the pressure" though. |
No way
|
Heh yeah. The fans are being brutal on him and chanting "you can do it!" lmao.
Roberto Aguayo misses 3 of 6 attempts in practice, gets booed edit: after some research the Bucs didn't hire his mental coach, IMG his agency did. That's even more hilarious. |

Thinking this Chiefs team will be very good is not being a homer. This is a loaded squad easily best in division and towards top of conference

If this loaded team doesn't start stopping the run or the pass, it's not gonna make much difference
|
Still would win the west

I hope you're right. |
Different team with Tamba Berry and Gaines. Who the **** would be just as good with 5 starters out including 3 all pros???
|
I feel like we've been thru this before.
"They're not doing any gameplanning, they're not doing this, or that, don't worry about them not stopping this or that, they'll figure it out". |
Quote:
It's completely reasonable to think we'll get it together when most of the starters are back. |

I hope they get it together with those guys back. But, those guys consist of a safety that hasn't had a padded practice yet, a corner coming back from a torn acl that's had half of a good season as a rookie, and a pass rusher with bulky knees.
There's alot that could go wrong therr |
Quote:
Nobody is saying there aren't question marks, but come on we're talking about Berry/Hali/Gaines/Mauga vs. White/Zombo/Murray/Wilson/March. It's pretty obvious we won't be nearly as bad as we have been in the preseason with the proven vets that have played in the system and together. |
Can they survive and compete for the AFC without Houston? Sure
Can they with 4 other starters out? No, but neither could any team in the league. |
the DL is loaded IMO. I think we'd be fine with Gaines if Houston wasn't hurt but Houston is like 30% of our defense.
Dorsey drafted Ford and Gaines bc he knew we'd need them at some point. Time to see how they do. They are really out season if you look big picture. |
Quote:
They can't afford to get behind the 8 ball again like last year, they need to get off to a good start. They can get off to a slow ish start, win 9 or 10 maybe slip into a wildcard spot. But selfishly, I wanna see both sides of the ball really click and them to run off to a 12 or more win season. |
Fully healthy this is the most balanced team the division has seen in nearly 2 decades/ Deisel Hammy :)

I love the young talent on D, but it no way would I expect this D to be the same with March, White, Murray, and Zombo out there instead of those guys week 1. |
