Gonna miss Selden. I loved watching him play.

A total enigma of a player. Selden doesn't have the skillset or the basketball IQ to keep himself in the NBA, so I'd guess he'll be heading to to the NBDL or Europe.

When he was playing well, he was so fun to watch. Talented. But when he would disappear, he was the most frustrating player.

Bragg will probably start at the four, you idiot.

Look for Greene and Svi to be the next to leave the program...

Always try to ride on the coattails of your high school recruiting profile.

Now, that is totally different if you are a guy like Buddy Hield. He didn't come to OU as a massive recruit, just a guy that could become a really good player. Those types of players should stay in school, because they can boost their draft stock by production. Guys like Diallo, Selden who are Top 15 recruits, it's best to go as soon as possible unless you are in a super unique situation.

Selden would have been a Top 25 or 30, most likely 1st round pick in the NBA Draft if he declared after his freshman year. Now he is likely a mid 2nd rounder.

It's a fair argument, one that I think almost always applies (and your example of Selden is quite accurate). But I think the scouts have seen enough by now to know that Diallo's high school recruiting ranking doesn't properly reflect what he is as a basketball player. Very difficult to see any team wasting a 1st round pick/giving guaranteed money to him.
