legs will come. but not ****ing with whats working now

There's more to working legs than just getting big legs, dude. All of the posterior chain training will actually help you be able to lift more with the upper body muscles.

Imbalances, and chicken legs, are reeruned when it's preventable.

scoops. progressing from the six inch position to legs lifted straight up. more stretching out the hamstrings and relieving low back pain than building hamstring muscle obviously.

Went for a nice 2 hour walk today.

I've been a walking machine these last 3 days. I've walked about 42 km in the last 3 days.

*I love walking it's the best. I thinking its healthier than running. Not as hard on the body. Only thing is, gotta do it for hours because its at such a low intensity.

Well it's the holidays, so the boys got to swim at the gym, I got an EXTRA long workout in (including all the BS talking you do with daytime gym goers!!), and spent WAY too long in the sauna. And it's MuscleMilk, Christmas cookies, and M&Ms... Lasagna later! Hawaiian steak tomorrow!! (and more cookies!!) Woo-Hoo!!!

started taking omega three fish oil as of yesterday 1000 mg - taking two a day. currently taking whey protein and creatine monohydrate. I ordered another 5 lb tub of protein. another 1000 g tub of creatine along with carb slam for postworkout and a shaker bottle.

Best thing anybody could ever take.

Keep taking it as well. It supposed to be critical for central nervous system function.

Silock, how do you feel about this post workout? Whey protein powder, dextrose, and 5 grams of L-Glutamine? I'm not taking anything pre workout. I've got a decent amount of muscle from high school football but I want to get serious about my protein intake.I'm now playing college club rugby and want to playing to the best of my ability. I've been eating protein bars post workout for the past couple years. I really don't know what I'm doing. I'm sure this has been covered but there are 448 pages. A little intimidating....

Silock 01-10-2011 01:03 AM

Athletes need more protein, period. All of that stuff is fine post-workout. However, protein isn't some miracle worker.

How much protein do you get per day right now?

Also, there's a new fitness thread.

Tylerthigpen!1! 01-10-2011 01:41 AM

I honestly have no idea how much I get. I typically just eat chicken/beef/eggs at almost every meal. But I doubt I'm getting 200 grams a day. Should i start considering just eating the egg whites? I saw that omelet recipe you posted in post 68. Sounds delish. I'm 6' and weigh 215. I don't consider myself chubby. I'll start posting in the other thread after you reply. Thanks a million for your help.

Silock 01-10-2011 02:45 AM

You should start tracking it so that you'll know.

6', 215 is pretty big. Do you lift often?
