If Greene is leaving, I have a slightly better feeling about Jackson.

The fact that both Selden and Greene made it known they were signing agents (in comparison to what Diallo did) almost looks like KU is sending a message to Jackson.

Jackson or Ferguson will be a Jayhawk. Likely gonna be Jackson. Maker is still in the mix as well.

No, Self isn't making their decisions for them. My point is that them very publicly announcing that they are signing with agents right now when they don't have to is only advantageous to this program's recruiting, not Selden and Greene themselves. They could make that decision and announcement later this year like Diallo.

KU/Self released the Selden news yesterday. Selden's prepared statement in the release also specifically referred to his decision to sign an agent (and in the first paragraph no less). It's a clear signal to recruits like Jackson and Ferguson that the spot is open for them.

Just heard that there was something that happened in Louisville that forced Brannen's hand and he had to leave the team.

That whole Svi/Greene rumor is starting to look a hell of a lot more realistic.

Here's hoping the Svi part isn't true, but at this point... one almost has to assume.

I think it's more along the lines of the respect they have for Self. I don't think Self is going, hey guys, you HAVE to hire and agent but it's probably more along the lines of "If you guys do have aspirations for the 2016 NBA Draft, I would prefer if you let us know your intentions so that we are able to recruit accordingly."
