Did you hear anything about Andy Reid wanting to draft Dexter McCluster in the 2010 draft? There was lots of chatter about that during the draft talk here..

Interestingly, yes. When Reid traded McNabb to Washington he picked up a 2nd Rd pick in the 2010 Draft at number 37. Word is he was targeting McCluster with that pick but the Chiefs grabbed him just prior. They ended up taking Nate Allen there instead.

I'd be buying a Maclin jersey if he become a Chief. He's an ideal #2 or #3 guy IMO.

Perfect #2 complement for a deep threat. When the deep threat runs the go and takes the FS with him, Maclin throttles down into the vacant area underneath and between the linebackers. He's also a great blocker for the dozen screen passes to the HB Reid calls every game.

Yep. And I bet he will utilize him a whole helluva a lot better than Haley/Daboll ever would. Boss ain't happy but maybe Andy can make him happy:hmmm:
