Kiffin has gone full reerun this year. USC was #1 overall by many publications to start the year and they've completely sucked, despite having an enormous amount of NFL talent.

Monte has them playing Cover 2 and read and react defense, which is negating the speed and athleticism of their players. They should be attacking and instead, their waiting around with their thumbs up their asses.

No one knows what the **** Lane is doing each week. For a team that went Toe-To-Toe with Andrew Luck and Stanford last year (among others), they've completely fallen apart offensively, despite the transfer from Penn State of Silas Redd.

They're a cluster****.

My guess is that Barkley has a great combine and a great Pro Day. There is plenty great game film available on him, so he'll be a Top Five QB.

Like I said, I don't know too much about USC, but there is one thing that I DO KNOW for sure that USC players are playing the read and react defense/Cover 2, and you are absolutey correct on that they have to be a attacking defense.

I just think the whole thing of selecting another USC QB is a red flag to me, because while that school has produced very good college players, when was the last USC QB that was able to translate their skills in the NFL? I don't think Palmer would fit in that category. Leinhart? Haha... Sanchez? No.

At least, it is to me, a concern.

Leinart was more interested in being Hollywood and Sanchez only played a few years. Even Petere Caroll said he wasn't ready for the NFL.

Didn't Sanchez only start 16 games? Dumb pick by the Jets. Carroll was right though. He came out too early.

Leinart and Sanchez didn't and don't love football.

Barkley loves football and loved USC so much that he spurned the NFL, where he would have been a Top 3 pick, to return for his fourth season.

I'm not predicting that Barkley will be a superstar QB but the love of football and character issues will not prevent him from doing so.

Oh I'm not predicting that Barkley will be a superstar QB either, but one can also make an argument that Collin Klein would also have the same tangibles that the love of fotball and that he has no character issues as well.

Anyways, I think the biggest question at this point, outside of Barkley and Geno Smith as well as the NFL Draft, is...

1. Does the Chiefs GM finally get axed? If so, who will be replacing him? What would the new GM's philosophy will be this time?

2. If the GM does NOT get axed, will he fire the HC? Who would be the replacement HC? Within? From some stupid tree? Or an outsider?

There are way too many if's, and, or buts to figure out which QB the Chiefs (if they ever do...) will select.

I just see the fight and desire in Barkley's eyes. He doesn't give up and wants to win/lead. He will be one of the better NFL QBs. Bank on it.

You know what? I'm going to take that long-term bet. It's something we can discuss as side-issue over the years as Geno is leading us to multiple playoff berths and Championships.:D

Addendum:

Please keep in mind my record of predicting Cassel FAIL right from the get-go. And by get-go, and I mean the day it was announced that he had been traded to us.

Coach 11-17-2012 03:58 PM

Okay USC has made a game out of it now...

And he missed the extra point... could be significant...

I don't know what you're trying to say here, Dude.

I used to see Leinart out in Hollywood, all the ****ing time. I ran into him with Paris Hilton too many times to count.

Sanchez has been bangin' his way through New York and most recently, with my beautiful neighbor friend that's 12 years older than him.

It's clear that neither one of those guys want to be Drew Brees, Peyton Manning or Aaron Rodgers.

I think they're both lucky to have jobs.

Well, I knew Leinart was a piss-pounding bag o' dicks in that regard, but I didn't know Snatchez was putting the poon first.

Oh well.

Couldn't you say the same about Leinart?
