But even then, if you get your hands on a guy like that....the route is disrupted. It's all about disrupting the timing. |

There were clips from the matchup earlier in the year in which Sneed was jamming Hill so thoroughly that he wasn’t even able to start running his route until probably a full 2-3 seconds after the ball was snapped. Wikipedia has Sneed listed at 6’1” 192. He is slender, even by CB standards. |
I’d expect a guy like Hardman to get bullied like that at the line, not a brick shithouse like Tyreek.

Looking at it, he's also looking inside at the snap so I'm guessing they were silent counting it.
That makes it tougher to get off a jam. |

I'd actually like to see the snap before where Sneed punked Hill into flinching for the false start.

Friendly reminder - because personally I had forgotten until I saw one of my old posts about it - that Sneed ran a 4.37 in the leadup to the 2020 draft.
Physical specimen, prototype size/speed combo for CB, and maybe most importantly - an absolute dawg. As long as his knee checks out - and I think he'll be fine - you do whatever you have to do to bring him back. He's shown explicitly that he'll play through pain. Guys like that are not guys you can afford to let get away. Letting guys like that get away sets a bad tone in the locker room, not to mention are almost impossible to replace. And we had drafted so well at CB that I didn't necessarily feel that way coming into the season. Pay the man and figure the rest of it out.

SNEED pic.twitter.com/GZazMAIUJ2
— AK ⛈ (@aklee_dpt) January 14, 2024
 |
Yes, absolutely. Him and McDuffie for a few years would be hard to beat.

Dudes tried to jam Reek while he was here and he was largely unaffected by it. Several things affect it. 1. Timing matters. if you're just a split second late, Reek done ran by you. 2. Weather matters. Reek started with his hands in his warmer. Sneed started with his hands ready to fight. If it was 70, it might have been a different outcome. 3. Circumstance matters. If this was a week 4 game, Sneed may not put forth that much effort. It's fun to think the guys should go all out every play, but it just doesn't happen. And Hill might have already checked out. 4. Most guys don't have the confidence to roll hard. Sneed had already seen him once this year, and has a bunch of snaps on him in practice. Reek is terrifying if he gets even with you. Sneed is just a manimal out there. Dude might be a psycho. LOL |
