Oliver has consistently given Trey Smith problems. I’m not sure exactly what it is, but maybe Oliver, being a smaller, quicker DT, is able to get under Smith quicker/more easily than others, and win the leverage battle?

Point being, Oliver lining up on Smith because Thuney is back inside doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve neutralized him.

Smith is better than Caliendo...

Seems like a situation where you want to commit to running the football, allowing Smith to play to his strength and get after guys instead of being put on skates. I don't expect Reid to do so but it'd be nice to see him - game script permitting of course - really hammer that Bills front with Hunt/Pacheco, giving Hunt the bulk of the work.

Just watched the highlights from the wk 11 game on Youtube.. It all came down to the Bills drive with 7 mins to go.. Couldn't get a stop.. They also had some really good catches in that game with our guys in really good coverage. ..
We had no problem moving the ball when Patrick had time to throw.. Morris at tackle had a rough game..
We are the fresher team and we will feed off the crowd and get two turnovers and win by two scores!!

You’re the MF’er who’s weak-minded enough to care.

Then why are you even here?

Really, when you think about it, all of these other teams and their fans should be praying we just go ahead and threepeat.

Their only hope is Mahomes, Reid, and Veach just get bored. I'm not sure a little of that doesn't happen in the regular season as it is.

Can you imagine the entire organization coming in next August PISSED, with a chip on their shoulder and ready to just obliterate people?

They might win the NEXT THREE just to make a ****in' point.

That's nice but I have a feeling the entire team is going to be very tired entering next season.

Mahomes is so competitive that the Chiefs will always contend as long as he’s here and healthy

Wouldn’t be expecting another 15 win season in 2025 though

Yup. Because this is it. This is the whole thing.

I can see us having a very down year next year. and that's ok

The human body just has limits.

A threepeat is a hell of a thing, and if we repeat 2023 with a lesser ending, don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Spags and the D will do enough but it's a lot to ask to keep Buffalo down the whole game. Buffalo will score.

A unique challenge is just how good they are on third and fourth downs of 3 yards or less. Because McD will be very aggressive on fourth it's doubly hard.

That's why I think limiting the runs on early downs is the key for the D. They want to be run heavy. Get them in 3rd and 5 or longer and hope Allen makes an errant pass or the coverage lasts long enough for the line to get home. Of course then there's keeping Allen from scrambling to still get into 4th and short or better.

Hope to hold them to 3 TD like last year, 8 drives:
3 TD
2 forced FG (one made)
3 punts (one fake)

No they won’t. Most of the starters on this team are 26 and under. They’re young. This is exactly why Brett Veach doesn’t like building his roster with older players.

They have the opportunity to add young impact players with those first 3 early picks as well. This next draft could have a 2022 type impact if we draft the right guys.

Y’all are tripping out. Tired my ass. Maybe Mahomes, Kelce and Chris will be tired but not the rest of these guys. The roster is deep and full of really young guys.

Well, we'll see. If Kelce and Jones are 80-90% of what they were this season it's going to be a struggle. Especially if the LT situation isn't resolved.

Mahomes will need LT solved if Kelce keeps falling off. He can't keep getting his ass busted all year and it not catch up to him.

Chiefs have to lean into the OL again heavily, at the expense of the defense. Time to replace RG and LT.
