If they want a 2 and nobody will give it to them, they are being smart by waiting. Some team loses a safety to injury, they could have 2-3 teams trying to trade for ET and then that price goes up.

According to Rappaport this mornig he says the Seahawks are standing Pat on a 2nd as compensation and the Chiefs are the front runners. That sounds to me like veach is trying to offer a lower compensation.

We play a lot of single high which is why Earl Thomas has been so successful in Seattle. He's the best centerfielder in the game and it's probably not even close.
