LMAO I always love when Lebron stans call the Warriors titles with KD 'fraudulent' when the 2 Heat titles he won actually did involve blatant tampering and salary cap manipulation to fit 3 superstars on the same team.
|
The Heatles will always be more illegitimate than the KD Warriors simply because of just how blatantly Lebron, Wade, and Bosh conspired together to bypass the checks and balances that were meant to keep parity in the league. Always bizarre when I see crying about super teams because Lebron invented the trend.

Damn. Kind of killed your own argument with that article, I'm afraid. Teams pulling off sign and trades and ending up with superteams isn't the same as 3 stars colluding over half a decade, down to the length of contract and how much each would leave on the table, in order to all fit under the cap. A valiant effort, though.

To that level? No, I'm going to safely say that probably didn't happen.

I agree with this take. I believe MJ is the GOAT as well as Brady but for long time I believed Montana was. Why? It is not just about how many championships they won but it is that they were undefeated as well. People tend to forget that part. Brady for his part just won so many that he has to be in front of Montana now. As far as Mahomes goes, listen I am one if not the biggest Mahomes lover here but people need to tap the brakes on GOAT talk for now. He has a long way to go so let's just enjoy it. |

Love is shooting under 40% overall and under 30% from three this season while averaging 8 points a game with no defense. He’s a very bad player.
|
And as I say that, Love hits a three

LMAO Kevin Love washed up at 28 in his prime. wtf. I think DJ was right.

If Miami wins tonight, we'll have 2 chances for a 0-3 comeback. Unfortunately I'll have to root for the Lakers and Celtics for that to happen. But so be it!

Like is Lowry not washed because he has great moments/games still like in these playoffs? I suppose it comes down to your definition of “washed” because Love isn’t even as good a player these days as Lowry.

If you played a drinking game each time Brown or Tatum turn the ball over, you'd be passed out by halftime.

Celtics 1-2-3 Cancun a game early

Pretty incredible how Miami is a 44 win 8 seed and might go to the Finals. The way it's looking now, Boston looks mentally defeated and it would take quite a turnaround to have a chance in this series.

Wow. This is pathetic by the Celtics

How do you not gut the team and fire the coach after this effort

It would be more honorable for the Celtics to just call the series off over this "effort"

Lebron should have learned to play defense in his career if he wanted in the GOAT discussion with Jordan.

Trade Brown
Fire Mazzulla Trade Dumb (I mean Smart) Ask Horford to retire. If he doesn't, cut him. Get Tatum a real ball handler to play next to. They have a good team but they need to remove the dead weight. |

The Celtics' defense is so much better with these scrubs in over their starters.

Do you watch basketball because it is something you enjoy?
Or as a badge of honor? (Or maybe because you get paid to?) |

I played it off as Simmons being a total homer, but he might be right. They're so ****ing talented, but the fact that they can't bring effort down 2 in game 3 is atrocious. Especially seeing what they where capable of under Udoka. I'm not sure I've ever seen coaching have that kind of impact. |

Heat got that dog in them. We should probably be talking more about them and less about 1 superstar who's team is about to be swept. |
|
Man, the Heat are playing some great basketball, but I would be absolutely shocked if they somehow beat the Nuggets. Feels like the Nuggets would have to absolutely choke, even worse than the Celtics, and they're firing on all cylinders right now.

Well Denver did beat Miami twice this year. Seems most have been counting out Miami (most in this thread) and yet here they are. We kind of expected Denver to compete somewhat but Miami came out of left field. Would be a great series and something new for the finals besides Labron or the Warriors. |

It would take the best ball Bam has played and at least a couple Butler other worldly games and cold shooting form Denver. Miami was damn fun to watch but it’s probably over after they house the bitch Celts. |

3 days of misses and 1 make. Guys putting up Dillon Brooks numbers from the stratosphere. |
Unlike the Bitchtics, the Nuggets like their coach and play as a team. It will be impressive if Miami wins more than 1 game in the Finals. Great run by the Heat though.

They really want the Broncos to be winning and would trade 100 years of losing Nuggets seasons for just a couple years of success for the Donks right now, but fate instead is going to give them "wellllll, how about one of these other lovely sports championships???" They have to smile through it while still being sad and feel very conflicted. I like the idea of that. |
