Hell no. We don't even need a SS. If we're going to make a trade we better be getting rid of our prospects for immediate impact.

The transition from SS to 3b is an easy one, and both of their bats would play. The Cubs have a surplus of SS prospects, and Theo's reasoning is athletic guys can make the transition to almost any other position.

Moose has a good glove at 3B and that's allowed him to be about replacement level. For league minimum that's ok for us, and he won't get very pricey since he can't hit. I'd rather have Duffy and Moose than Castro which is essentially the trade. We're not in a position to be trading SP anyway with Shields leaving and Guthrie on his last legs

Shields vs Odorizzi tomorrow, should be interesting.

Might be, if Shields can get back to being Shields of April and May.

We're not a play off team if we don't add some power to this team.

That lineup today was an abortion. No excuse to sit arguably your best player - when you had a freaking day off on Thursday.

Welp, we are still 3 or 4 wins ahead of last years win pace at this time.

86 wins is like winning the World Series!

Gordon is batting 263. Hardly the team's best player right now.

You're right. Moose made some solid plays today.

Salvy is the best player so far
