Ya I'm sure. Just curious though how you can sell such a sought after console and **** the shipping up so bad

I'd guess some warehouse employees just don't care about their 10 dollar an hour job.

An update for Assassin's Creed IV hit which bumps to resolution up to 1080p (was at 900) and firmware 1.51 should be coming soon.

They are fixing some stability issues and enhancing the download/patch system. So pretty minor changes overall, hence the .01 jump :)

I think we'll get another update in a week for the EU launch.

In other news, here's the Xbox One review from kotaku.

Sounds like it's currently an incomplete system.

The difference in AC4 with the patch is quite noticeable. Looks great (for a port) now :)

Sony had a similiar pricing strategy for the PS3, so I reckon the PS4 is going to be at that price for awhile, until manufacturing costs come down.

Sony took such a beating in the PS3 era to the point that I'd be ultimately surprised if they recouped all of the R&D cost without funneling money from Blu-ray movie royalty fees.

I actually think the manufacturing costs can lower dramatically after a year, but am anticipating the console price will remain the same until Microsoft drops the price on the One. With how much of a pain it is to process die's with 32mb of esram, I'd venture that manufacturing costs for Microsoft will remain high for awhile.

I will admit that the Xbox one will be an interesting machine once they flesh out their features, smooth things out and have a nice combination of affordable entry price and a nice game collection.

E: EA/dice claiming that there will be a patch rolling out next week to fix all the bullshit with Battlefield4.

There is another video with a guy that has the real console, not a beta and it looks amazing. So glad I held off on the ps4.

I would love that in my car. In my living room, not so much.

Nice, yeah it appears it's hit or miss on the voice commands. Polygon gave the system an 8 while CNET was less than forgiving with their review. I'm ready to get mine and start testing.

When he was doing the IE voice commands was awesome. "Click on 'This is what a 3400 year old steak mummy looks like'.

What is the issue in voice commands? I had issue with them with the original Kinect because I could never quite get it to work the way I wanted it to. But, by all the videos I've seen of the new Kinect that isn't going to be much of an issue going forward.

Personally, I think that COD has made no improvements since MW2 and it just seems like the same stale game over and over. Just like Madden.

COD really topped out for me at COD4. But be honest, as far as run-and-gun shooters go, there aren't any alternatives. And as support and players migrate to the next generation of the game, you really don't have a choice but to follow as far as I can see. I skipped BO2, but otherwise I have ended up hitting every other installment of the series.

Ghost isn't bad. Nothing to write home about, but worth playing when you just want some mindless fun.

Crysis 3 is the best shooter for running and gunning, nobody plays it though. If that game had a larger weapon variety and got more support for the devs it could have been really popular.

Try out blacklight:retribution - cant say how it plays on console, but on PC its magnificent, and free.

Mr. Plow 11-20-2013 11:15 AM

Ok, the BLOD is seeming to be a bit more widespread that I initially thought. Has anyone on CP had issues with it?
