Stopped reading after the Trump tweet comment.

If you’re basing your opinion off of politics, then the bias is too strong and unrealistic. If Clark makes decisions based on that same rationale, this franchise is in deep shit.

I'm not basing it off politics. Peters acts like a child and thats not who you give long term money to. You give it to good players that know how to be mature and professional. Not over emotional nut cases.

As far as I know peters has no criminal record to speak of. He is an emotional guy that might just happen to be the best player at his position in the league. I'm not going to trade him just because he does things alittle different personally than some people in this region like. If I were the gm I would make sure he's here for a long, long time whether he wants to rant, rave, kneel or whatever as long as he helps us win more than lose which to this point he clearly has....

Terez said on 610 that Peters won't sign a deal here. That is his belief and he is the most trusted reporter we have. Moving him now would be a smart move or you may get nothing. Tagging him will only cause more of problems. He's embarassed the Hunts with more than one incident, fought with coaches like he did in college, had an fbombed filled interview after he was suspended. He's immature and a jerkoff. Even if the Hunts are willing to put up with him that doesn't matter if he won't sign long term. Terez is probably right, it feels like he is. Moving him now is the best move we can make with him.

Surely Terez would have written something up about this if he had a legit scoop regarding Peters not wanting to sign a longterm deal, yes?

I mean, that's a pretty damn big story. He could have lent some credence to the trade rumors. That's how you make it as a national sports guy. You start local and you break big stories that are local. You don't just sit on them and then mention that shit off-hand on the radio.

Also, you'll forgive me if I don't trust your view of the situation for like... well, ever. You embarrassed the **** out of yourself when it came time to trade Alex Smith.

Everything you said is speculation. I like paylor as a writer for the team, but to say he won't sign here is just a guess. I literally don't care how the man acts off the field as long as he's not getting arrested. It is America and unless you hear Clark Hunt, his boss, publicly state that he is doing to much I want him here to help lead that team to a super bowl. Way to good to throw away because he is an a**hole. Do you want to trade tyreek because his previous transgressions? Kelce also? Hunt? That's why I don't get it that you are focusing so much on one guy.

What? I was all in on getting Smith gone you moron. I wanted Foles to stay and draft a QB. They should have cut Smith a year earlier. I never wanted Smith to stay.

You said Smith would never get us anything of value in a trade.

Doesn't it make you wonder why he doesn't want to sign in KC? Hmmmm

Link that up. That’s too big of a deal to just say it happened without some proof..

I will own that one. Brett hoodwink them big time and I was surprised.

OK Madam Cleo, he has never said or done anything to indicate either way.

Why does it matter if he signs long term? They can have him cost effectively for the next 3 years until he's 28 years old. Let some other team sign him after that and the Chiefs will take the comp pick.

He’s referring to that post about 610 replaying Terez audio from December saying he doesn’t think Peters wants to be here. He didn’t even hear it himself, and i think it’s very strange that Terez supposedly said this back in December and we’re just now hearing about it.

That has the ultimate out too. When they don't trade him, he will just say "Well they tried to trade him but nobody would meet their price because of Peters attitude."

TambaBerry 02-22-2018 07:38 AM

Yeah going to need a link to him saying that, because i doubt it happened
