But I think you and I may be on a bit of an island here. Best I can figure is that people are extrapolating continued development and improvement from his Freshman year when they are making these arguments.

When in fact the exact opposite occurred.

I mean, Jadeveon Clowney got to be the #1 overall pick by being a total badass for a handful of games in his sophomore year and then turning into college football's version of Frank Clark.

It sure would be fun if Ross turns out to be a “first round talent” type of guy. If he’s “that guy” and Skyy is who I think he is (Welker type WR) then this WR group is going to be flat out unstoppable in the stretch going into the playoffs and once we’re there, it will be hard to out score us.

That’s 2 big IFS, though.

He is an UDFA, if he makes even the practice squad it was a good pick up.

“All red wines should be drank with ice” lol. That one was brutal.

I like his analysis but he says some stupid shit when he gets in front of the camera. I love when he comes on the Pat Mcafee show and they call him on his takes that shit on his other actual twitter takes and stuff lol.

Clean up surgery is like a 6-10 week recovery? Stash on IR this year?

Not much of an island. More of the Vikings discovering America.

I think almost everybody is expecting nothing from the kid and just staying out of the conversation (native Americans), but those that are on the camp are super loud about it (Danish Mainland). There are just very few looking to traverse between the two (Vikings).

Hopefully they saw enough at rookie camp to keep him onboard and give him a year to get healthy. Would be a great story!

Honestly - maybe the league knew that he probably needed more work done, and that - combined with previously discussed reasons - is why he went undrafted.

What I'm saying is, maybe this isn't new news to Veach?

Granted he ran around during the minicamps earlier this offseason, so maybe it was a "let's test it out" sort of deal.

When only 4 teams out of 32 medically clear you, this was the outcome that even Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder could see coming.
