Why would the NFL not just name their ref crews at least a couple of weeks ahead of time? That would make it pretty tough for anybody to claim favoritism.

i didnt even realize mark andrews didn't even play last week

something to watch this week

Was Warren Sharp always this unhinged?

Sharp is also getting dragged on the internet by just about every national pundit for his take that Allen should have thrown it underneath to Diggs on the play where Jones pushed the tackle back into him.

Wow it takes it even further..

Bet we get at least 2 roughing calls.

that's probably true. Mahomes is the new Brady with roughing penalties.

Mecca 01-23-2024 11:57 AM

I dunno if it's because the Chiefs run is coming right after the Patriots so it's being tired of both..I dunno if it's because these people can't handle someone challenging Brady..but something has people up in arms the Chiefs are good.

I've read before they actually do look at match ups and "fit" for the crew, but don't know what that means exactly.... like if they prefer guys who have reffed the teams recently or whatever.

Some people wouldn't ever be happy about it... if they did it beforehand, they would just say they set it up for an easy path for whichever team made it through. Or, oh they knew the Ravens had honefield throughout and assigned refs that favored that, or whatever.

There are no bounds to the fan fiction people can make up and the fcts they're willing to ignore.

different coordinator. Last time the Chiefs played the Ravens was in '21, when we had Wink as coordinator. Macdonald's middle name isn't swiss cheese like Winks was.

You know you're scared.

Mahomes has always owned you.

Always.

He'd be 4-0 if Clyde didn't fumble.

Actually, he’s had one or two calls the entire season. But whatever makes it easier to justify their greatness for you.

It's wild the amount of disrespect he gets as a soon-to-be two time MVP while the same folks slobber all over people like Josh Allen (who is also good, but, you know, not a soon-to-be 2 time MVP). I wonder why!

you got that. Totally disrespected.

Yes mahomes has had one roughing the passer penalty all year. Such a stupid take for misinformed fans to complain about.
