I suppose if you believe it will be impossible to sign him, then you take the trade and limp on. Sure would be nice to have Bowe around for our new qb next season, though. If anything, we should be shopping defensive players for picks.

Losing Bowe is inexcusable. He's an elite WR and should be paid accordingly. We have ample cap room. Unfortunately we are wasting his elite skills on a piss-poor QB and continue to show a disdain for the passing game.

I'd franchise him and give him a year with our rookie QB. He can decide if KC is on the real high ups soon or not then.

A guy who is not wanting to be somewhere will undermine coaches, do just enough to get buy, will be more willing to give up when they aren't involved in the game... He will just be a bad guy to have around. The Chiefs have nobody who can keep a guy like that in line on the offensive side of the ball, they are too young, there is no leadership who can put Bowe in his place if he is acting out.

He's not. He is a #1 receiver, that's it. Nothing about Dwayne Bowe is elite. He's got good size and uses his body well, but he isn't that fast, struggles against the press, has inconsistent hands, and is one of the few diva WR's out there. You can get a guy who can match Bowe's production every year in the draft.

I'm not saying he sucks. I just think you can get a guy who can match his production every year in the draft. He is a #1 WR who is good for 1,000 yards and 5+ TD's. Every single year their are 20 guys who get 1,000 yards and 5+ TD's.

With a good QB, Bowe is elite.

Bowe still gets a shit ton of passes thrown his way. I don't think his numbers would sky rocket with a great QB. He might get 3 or 4 more TD's but his yards would still be similar.

Larry Fitzgerald and Reggie Wayne still put up numbers without Manning and Warner.

Can you blame Bowe for wanting out of this shit hole?

Matt Cassel and Tyson Jackson are the two most overrated players on the damn team and they each get $60+ million contracts while Bowe works his ass off, puts up good numbers, stays out of trouble and is a team player but yet he doesn't deserve to get paid?

That's like putting in 5 years of great production at your job and watching 2nd year lazy employee's get the raise and bonus over you.

And Decker was on pace for 1,000 yards and 16 TD's before Tebow came in last year. I will admit that Bowe is better than Decker but Decker isn't some scrub.
