Fast forward to about the 3 minute and 30 second mark.

"Slight movement of the football does not constitute a loss of control". The forearm was down before Caldwell lost possession.

Yeah, I posted these pictures in the other thread where everyone is complaining about the fumble reversal:

First picture is right before he's down, second picture is when his forearm (NOT ELBOW) contacts the ground. The ball hasn't moved between the 2 pictures.

It's just amazing that they call it one way for Denver, but yet the other way for everyone else.

Well, not really.

Do you have an example of this being called differently for a different team?

Any other time it was ruled a fumble when the ball moved before the runner is down

Thanks, vail.

If it was the Chiefs that were beating everyones ass thanks in part to bad sportsman tactics, I honestly dont know for sure how I would feel.

a) **** 'em, we rule and you pussies just arent trying hard enough.

or

b) its hard for me to root for the dirtiest team in the league, why cant we just win fair and square.

But either way, what I said is true... you guys are despised around the league for those tactics and are the only ones that consistently use them.

Its nothing personal to you fans... atleast most of you.

Look at the pictures I posted. The ball didn't move.

Two pictures ain't shit. How about the previous 5?

I watched it live. I saw the slow motion replay. I saw it move. That's a ****ing fumble for almost any other team. Period.

Watch the video I posted. The head of officiating said that was the right call in his media briefing video.

Which previous 5? I've seen a million pictures/gifs that show the ball moving before his elbow hits. However, the elbow doesn't matter. His forearm is the first to hit the ground, and the ball does not move before it happens.

It's not a fumble, and I've never seen any play where the ball moves and comes out right AFTER the runner is down called a fumble before. If you have evidence of that happening, please share it.

That was the mojo for the rest of the game.

Yes, it was a fumble. Furthermore, even if you want to ride the "it wasn't a fumble" train, it certainly wasn't clear enough evidence to overturn it. And, if we're going to bandy quotes

Former NFL referee Mike Carey has repeatedly said during the CBS broadcast that, in his view, the outcome of the replay review was incorrect.

Mike Carey was wrong, just like he was about the fumble in the Colts-Texans game.

I wasnt even watching at that point, and the pics Hef posted look dicey for the pro fumble crowd... but when Mike ****ing Carey goes against the ruling, SOMETHING is wrong.
