And if you think that sounds rude or inaccurate, it is not.

So if what you say is true, that both mother and son are nuts... why would we want that kind of drama from EITHER one going on while we're trying to win football games

Its starting to sound like an extremely dysfunctional family all the way around

Royals trading away Jermaine Dye, Johnny Damon and Carlos Beltran in the late 1990's/early 2000's... this move is in that same mold.

Except the Royals didn't get a better, younger and cheaper proven player(s) in return, so, no.

I'm a little surprised to hear that. He's suggesting that Houston and Peters are tight and he's angry and maybe also a problem? I've never heard anything like that, other than concerns with Houston and April 20th. My only beef is I felt like he disappeared since he got paid.

He would be almost impossible to trade this year. $13 million in dead money is a ton to take on.

Damn. The Chiefs sure need to bring me down after they just made a franchise move at QB.

I guess Peters said absolutely no to an extension? Wtf is happening here. You traded Smith for a guy who's spent the majority of his career in the nickel, not a #1.

The Rams dont even have a 2nd round pick do they? Ugh...

So building a team of less talented, but upstanding citizens will warm your heart with their 9-7/8-8 production?

Lawrence Taylor was a head case.

Derrick Thomas had issues.

Dealing with these type of ultra-talented, but high maintenance players is a reality sometimes.

Do you think Peters would have a better chance of staying on at Oakland or New England?

Which trophy do we hoist for that achievement again?

Royals got great rookie production out of Damon, Beltran, Greinke and Sweeney.

I'm not suggesting there is any fire to this smoke, was just reporting what I heard KK say....

Bet they get 2 firsts

DaneMcCloud 02-23-2018 02:33 PM

The Chiefs are not only getting a bundle of draft picks, they're going to have plenty of cap space in order to sign a qualified CB to start opposite Fuller while Nelson's in the slot.

I'll laugh my ass off if they get Kendall's brother, Kyle, to play opposite him.

The secondary will be improved.

Peters has been a shutdown year after year it's a ****ing downgrade no matter how you try to sell it.

If the Rams weren’t willing to give up Robert Quinn, there’s no way they’d give up two 1sts. Probably not even one.

If it's a 1st, 5th and 2019 2nd, I'll be beyond stoked.

They essentially get back their 2018 pick that was traded for Mahomes, a 5th that was traded for Cam Erving and 2nd rounder in 2019.

If Veach somehow gets a 2019 4th in the deal, that would cover Ragland as well.

LMAO
