I hope this season isn't another one where we see Clemence do great things for the 2 minutes he's in and then rides the bench the rest of the game.

I really believe if Selden had come back for his Senior year, he would have been a Naismith POY finalist, and would have developed enough to get drafted in the 1st round.

I am not a fan of the one-and-done system, but if you stay 3 years, and are not a lottery pick or a sure fire first rounder, then you should just stay that extra year, get your degree, and be coached by HOF coach.

Not trying to put words in others mouths. But the thought is that relying on Dick to do majority of the scoring from the perimeter leaves the offense rather vulnerable. Having Rice expand the offense on the perimeter provides a lot more comfort from that fear.

Maybe a one and done but is Dick a lottery pick? Since when?

Oh, I'll be there. You get a piece of the national championship floor if you attend I'm told.

I think I'll be at the Duke game as well if I can get a single ticket. I'll be in Chicago for poker and will probably buzz down for a **** off day.

The key to how good this team can get is how little KJ Adams is on the floor. If he plays 20 mpg we may be as low as a #3 or #4 seed. I'm expecting a #2 and Self phasing him down to 5-7 mpg for energy spurts later in the year. That is the dream anyway.

This team will be a 1 seed.

I could easily see it.

He's a scorer who is 6-8 and nails from 3. He has length too, as opposed to a Svi

Roll call, whose coming with me?

Exactly. I'm not saying this team is going to miss the tourney or something if Rice isn't good. But I think the difference between this team being a potential 2022 version rather than 2021 rests on his shoulders. This team has a number of similarities to the 2021/2022 team, namely that you are never really going to be sure what we get out of the 5 spot from night to night and we have some guys that can score some, but also disappear. Scoring is going to be an issue at times. Rice being that additional scorer like Remy is key. Obviously he won't be the same type of scorer, but they need additional options. Of course I hope Pettiford really comes on strong and gives us some scoring there too, but we haven't seen it yet. He seems more like Harris where passing and defense are his calling cards rather than Mason or Collins who look to score.

Taking my 17 year old daughter tonight who hasn't wanted to go to a game with me in a long time.
