Yeah, you're scared. You're ignoring the fact that he has much less risk of injury playing two less games and it gives the entire team rest.

All because he "might" get reinjured despite every sign from the team that he's ready to go.

We will find out almost immediately on Saturday how he’s able to move and how much he’s able to run. He might be just fine but if he’s not able to without limitations, yeah, I have some concerns about throwing him out there on a bad ankle for 2 games in 4 days in the regular season.

If Pat sits and they lose, the whole team has to play against Denver. If they lose another game, the whole team has to play wild card weekend.

If your #1 goal is the health of the team, act like it. Because you're not advocating for the goal you expressed. You're contradicting yourself.

If we clinch the one seed after Christmas, the core players will get a minimum of 24 days of rest.

You want the core guys healthy for the playoffs, that’s the best way to do it.

I think the defense showed there's an extra gear there they can shift to now that its time to seal the deal on this BYE.

It wouldn't surprise me if they flash more dominance these next couple games to secure that rest they ALL want and need.

Man, I think it's just Omenihu and Williams. ROFL

People hoping Pat would sit in the Media really just want Bills to get #1 seed

Hey guys, Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are cowards. They'd risk everything to get the #1 seed.

Imagine saying 3 tough games to go, 2 on the road, with a 2 game lead for the #1 spot and Saturday is a "meaningless" game. Especially when Buffalo has a cake schedule. And we want week 18 to be meaningless so we can really rest some guys for a stretch.

You can't make up that kind of stupidity.

Chiefs are trading the next 6 days for the following 18.

Let's get it. NO DAYS OFF.

As they should be. It's all just probabilities. They have a better chance of being healthy, including Patrick, if they get the most rest possible. It's basic arithmetic.

Yes, but just as many want Lamar to win it all.

One would hope the coaches know what they are doing and the risk is minimal of that.

The only game on our regular season schedule that is potentially meaningless is the Denver game after we beat Houston and Pittsburgh.

Until that #1 seed is secured, EVERY game is important.

This could be the game that clinches the #1 seed for the Chiefs.

Can’t dismiss the possibility that Buffalo could lose on Sunday just because they are 14 point favorites.

Yeah, if for some crazy reason the Bills lose and the Chiefs win, they can take two games off before the bye.

Just imagine if the Chiefs decided to ease up on the Houston game and they lost by resting Mahomes… and then the Patriots miraculously beat Buffalo on Sunday.

Opportunity missed.
