"kelce doesn't really run routes anymore" LMAO
21:24 VERY underrated throw that got us 3 pts |

I'm glad he focused on that play at about the 5 minute mark a bit because that's one that history will forget and it was probably Pat's 2nd best throw of the night (the best as the TD to Kelce). But that throw was just impossible. On 4th down, no less. There was just nothing there and he puts it in the one spot where Kelce can try to make a play on it while falling away from the direction he was throwing. It was awesome. |
And for the "Arm strength is overrated" crowd - the throw to Kelce on the FG drive and the throw to Watson are just friggen seeds that don't work if you don't have a guy that can put that sucker on a line into a zone like that.
Jackson CAN'T make those plays and never will be able to. Because he simply lacks the raw arm strength to put a pill into a tight window. |

You can tell Simms knows but he just dances around and gives him some pass and excuses. "They put guys in the box and played alot of man and wanted to keep the guy in teh pocket and throwing the ball". |
Quote:
That was a great play by Watson to be ready as Mahomes threw that before completing his drop. Almost like MVS and Watson have picked Kelce's brain about going off script according to what the defense is doing |

Shannon said "We aren't allowed to be critical of Lamar because we get called Uncle Toms..." Acho said "I'm disappointed in how this will impact Lamar but really I'm more disappointed in how this will impact the narrative of the running quarterback..." He wasn't talking about Josh Allen, fellas... It is what it is. |

The assumption should be that Lamar won’t win in the playoffs until he proves otherwise.
Plenty of opportunities to change that. Failed every time. |
Quote:
He didn't. Lamar proved that the problem isn't that he's a running QB - I think a guy with Lamar's gifts can/should win a SB someday. Maybe multiple. The problem is that Lamar is dumb. He's just ****ing stupid. I don't understand how he didn't realize that he HAD to get his legs in the game. This 3rd read shit he was doing to prove a point wasn't going to work. We dared him to be a pocket passer and he took the bait. Because he's dumb. This shouldn't impact the 'narrative of the running QB' - it should impact the narrative of the stupid QB. If you lack the savvy to see what they're trying to make you do in-game and pivot, you're not going to win much in this league. |

Quote:
As dumb as I accused him of being, he was dumber than that. He's so very, very dumb. |
Quote:
It was a complete masterclass of Spags just daring you to do X and you just....not even trying to do Y? |
Quote:
Nah - our boy Lamar further reinforced the narrative for stupid ones. In a polar opposite package to Dan Marino. Be a big armed moron or a fast moron and sooner or later, being a moron is going to end your season in the playoffs. Don't pay dumb quarterbacks. |

He's a special kind of stupid. |

Ravens guy talking smack about Belichick. Kind of funny, but also kind of embarrassing after Baltimore's weak performance last weekend.

Shit as weird as it is to say this, there are fans that think Mahomes isn't a "black QB" cause well he isn't ghetto to be honest. |

I've seen people point to Brittany as proof that Pat isn't black. Disgusting. |

I mean Pat is biracial so you can't call him black while ignoring his white half. But with that said, he surely got his athletic ability from his dad's side, including his facial features.
CJ Stroud's mom is also biracial so that makes him partially biracial, too. |
Tater, Watson, Hurts, they have no problem criticizing. Lamar must be gay with AIDs

Thank goodness Marcellus Wiley isn't still on Speak, because he is the most racist black person I have ever listened to, and he really dislikes light skinned people, and always, always hypes the dark skinned players.
He would have eviscerated the offensive coordinator, and blamed him for Lamar not running more. He would find a way to explain how Mahomes got lucky, and Lamar is actually the best QB in the league. |

Jason Whitless says that "race baiters" like Ryan Clark are to blame for Lamar Jackson not playing well, and he blames the race baiters for costing Baltimore a chance to win a SB.
I tried to read the article about it, but it made me so damn angry, I had to stop. I have seen older people, like 65+, suddenly start believing Fox News, like they literally just said the CIA planted Taylor Swift with Travis Kelce and the Chiefs in a Psy-op to swing the election for Biden. Regardless of your politics, everyone should be able to recognize flat out make believe from reality. Maybe Whitlock had a stroke, and he was deprived of oxygen for an extended period of time, and that's why he has become such a garbage writer and person. Edit: Forgot to post link https://foxsportsradio.iheart.com/co...he-super-bowl/ |
Also, that was not a political post. It was a post about the absurdity of the media, and how much of a POS Whitless is

Also, you couldn't read the whole article, it's a ****ing 2 minute read. His comments actually make some sense on why they did what they did and didn't run the ball. |
So the reaction out of Baltimore fans has been embarrassing, all the ref blaming, we’ve all seen it…
My thought on why it’s so bad: they know they’re never making it with Lamar. This was the year, they couldn’t do it, it’s never happening. Especially now without the coaches they’ve lost. He will have his MVPs but will never play in a SB. |

And I rarely pay attention to any of it for these reasons, but it would be nice to bask in the media love without being neck deep in the bullshit. |

If you believe what Fox News says, good for you. I will not attack you for what you watch. Its also ridiculous for the Maga State News (Fox News) to claim that Swifties are a cult, without acknowledging that Maga followers, or Magats, are also a cult. Both followings are cult like. Edit: I would never post anything directly from Fox News, but here is a short clip with video evidence. Also, Titus doesn't like Democrats either, even though he is pointing out how ridiculous this is for Republicans. https://youtu.be/9UIncXkylRM?si=D5hx8UHkbLt8WIqt |
Anybody with eyes, can see Sneed is not wearing regulation socks. With the red and gold stripes. Refs should have nullified the punch out and ejected him after watching the replay.

KC with Mahomes. Buffalo with Allen. Cincy with Burrow. You can argue Lamar for Baltimore, Herbert in LA. Now it’s Stroud in Houston. And one MFer is preventing the rest from accomplishing the ultimate goal, in many of those franchises’ case, winning their first ever Super Bowl. That has to be so brutal to deal with and thank goodness it’s the Chiefs doing the damage. Can you imagine Mahomes being like 80-90% of what he is and not being able to win it all because Allen was constantly in the way? I’d probably lose my mind too. LMAO |
The Chiefs are better at nearly EVERY position group over the Ravens. It's hilarious how fluke turnover differential flipped the narrative that Baltimore is actually the Super team when it was KC all along with the LOADED roster
|
Chiefs are 18-2 without 4 fluke plays

Or by missing a blatant tripping penalty in the end zone that should've resulted in a safety? Or blowing the whistle awfully early on a play where the Chiefs forced a fumble? |

That’s a better list than the QBs Allen has beaten in the playoffs. |
Quote:
There are definite similarities between the Chiefs, Bengals, Bills. All three went about 20 to 30 years between playoff wins. All small market teams. All are now contenders because they drafted a franchise QB. That's the blueprint for many other long suffering franchises to follow. The Chiefs aren't always going to hold these other franchises down. Bad bounces, injuries, free agency, etc. Shit happens even if you have Mahomes. That's why it's so important to capitalize on these SB chances when they came. |

Let's Talk About Baltimore (AFC Championship)
Quote:
I actually think the play calls were pretty good given how much green grass was available on almost every single pass play. Lamar just wouldn’t take it. He wanted to prove himself as a passer but he also just looked kind of slow, like he didn’t trust his speed, which definitely looked a bit slower than we are used to. |
Bengals shit their pants against a Rams team the Chiefs would have beaten.
