I don't know if either one will make it.
Jenkins looks to be more in line with the Avery, Wylie, and McCluster make up. Very quick. With Bowe and our TE's, that seems to be more what we need than another big receiver. Players that can get downfield quick to move the DB's back to create space for the underneath routes.
A speed receiver opposite Bowe and a speed receiver in the slot, or two speed receivers on the outside when they decided to line Bowe up in the slot should really make our offense have more options than just check downs to Charles. And it should give Charles more room to maneuver if we do check it down.
As an example. On what may have been our longest play the other night, screen pass to Davis that went for 17 yards, Avery, Wylie, and McCluster were our receivers. They all got off the line quick and ran hard down the field. Cleared out all kinds of space for the linemen and Davis to work out on the right side. And the result was our best play of the night. If not the best, it was pretty close to the best.
