Could Poe make a return?

Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff admitted the team likely won't be able to re-sign impending free agent DT Dontari Poe.

Signed to a one-year deal last offseason, Poe proved to be a bargain signing for the Falcons. He didn't miss a game and played stout run defense on the inside while also providing a three-year best 2.5 sacks. Poe is 28 and expects to land a multi-year deal this time around after failing to do so in 2017.

Back problems for big guys seems pretty scary. That deal could flop pretty quick on you.

Looks like Honey Badger may be a FA pretty soon.

Interest?

Not thread-worthy - but Matt Forte to retire from NFL.

Would probably be pricey.

I'd take him for sure though. He'd be a hell of a replacement for Parker.

Dude didn't allow a single TD IIRC.

I'd give Poe a 3 year, $24 million dollar deal with $8 million guaranteed.

The Chief could dump him after one year or keep him with a fairly reasonable salary in 2019 and 2020 if his health holds up.

I think he would be perfect next to Berry, Size be damned. Minus Earl Thomas, he would be the other Safety I want

I'm a hard pass. Big guys with back injuries aren't something I'd wanna get into. The Chiefs had him in house and chose to let him walk. I'd say theres little to no chance he's back in KC.
