Most Bills fans seem to recognize it was a horrible tragedy and from a football perspective no other team should be penalized and Buffalo unfortunately has to fall on the sword. The ownus unfortunately falls on the Bills and rightfully so. The Bills should forfeit the game if it cant be made up.

Should be irrelevant what the Chiefs do against the Raiders if the Bills and Bengals game cannot be rescheduled.

That’s not the way it works. We’d still have 1 more win than Buffalo. Crappy situation for them but they chose not to play.

WTF… Chiefs at 14-3 should get passed over by a 13-3 (Buffalo) and a 12-4 (Cincy) team?

That makes no sense.

Nope, you get a refund.

Right, and in this case if you can't go, you can sell your tickets for a lot more than a refund.

What’s the problem?

Problem is that Buffalo should not be able to get out of playing this game. They should have to play a 17 game schedule just like everyone else. They don’t get an out because of an injury regardless of how it plays out. If they refuse to play then hand them the L. Don’t give them a pass like some stupid suggestions imply (such as a tie). They don’t play they don’t get the #1 seed.

Agreed. That is all I am saying.

None of it makes sense if the Bills and Bengals do not play a 17 game season. There is no good outcome regardless of what happens here.

If both Buffalo and Cincinnati win their week 18 matchups you have to argue that one of them should have had a winning result from their scheduled game. This would’ve pushed one of them into the number one seed bumping Kansas City down because of tiebreakers.

Disagree. KC should not be punished if Buffalo refuses to play.

Uhm, no. If Cincy won the game, the Chiefs would have the 1 seed.

I agree with that… Buffalo should be forced to forfeit yesterday’s game and get the loss.

No, but this a Chiefs loss would solve a lot of problems for the league. We will be playing against the evil empire for sure, let the flagging begin.
