If you add Odell to this offense, it's the most physically talented bunch to ever play in the NFL.

Problem is, that's absolutely not going to happen.

We should pursue Jimmy Graham

Nope. What a pipe dream, though.

If they're going to trade for an established player, defense might be the smarter way to go.

Plus character is important. Alex is a high character guy with a lot of class, while Beckham apparently has a reputation for immature behavior and could be a cancer in the Chiefs locker room. That's not a very good trade if you can find a really good defensive player with good character instead.

Oh I think the offense would be just fine with Mahomes. He didn't seem to mind the lack of Kelce or Hill in Denver. They have much bigger problems to address on defense.

But it would be pretty fun to watch Mahomes and Beckham in addition to the Chiefs current receiving weapons.

Sure, wouldn’t it have been fun to see him rather than Wilson go up and high point passes from Smith?

I actually probably wouldn't do it because when you have that many star weapons, egos are bound to prevail when the ball isn't being shared enough.

I hope we just take draft picks unless they can get a good young defender.

Alex Smith has a career year with Kelce, Hill, and Hunt. There's a clear reason for this.

He needs those kind of players in order for him to be really good. As I feared all year long, once one of them got hurt it was a wrap for the offense.

Kelce getting hurt did not have any affect on the defense though. The defense played against a below average offense.

Against the Chiefs defense, Alex Smith wasn't on the field. TOP was crazy lopsided in the second half.

You mean the defense that caused turnovers and held the Titans to 3 points in the first half? This isn’t the 85 Bears. You can’t expect hem to play an entire game like that. The offense going into a shell in the 2nd half didn’t help the defense at all.

Keep scoring and you make the Titans go one dimensional.

Peter King is asked last night where he sees Smith landing. His answers: 1. Cleveland 2. Cleveland 3. Arizona

Smitty is gonna go sling that shit in Cleveland.

Seeing all the Smith-only guys leave the board to go watch him run into sacks & miss open receivers in the miserable place that is Cleveland would be awesome. Somehow, Smith wrapping up his terrible career in Cleveland is fitting.
