It hurts depth, though. The Chiefs have done a good job replacing injured starters all through the year and hopefully they can do it again while replacing Thornhill. It's just kind of annoying when the talking heads talk about how the Chiefs are "getting healthy" when they are mostly getting healthy by putting starters on IR and plugging in guys off the street.

Hopefully Cairborne is able to go now because it sounds like Fuller will be at safety and we'll need depth at corner.

Eagle is good. Too bad he is stuck with Fouts.

Harlan is much better than Eagle and Gannon better than Fouts, not sure how they decide this stuff.

They have some flaws, their run D is pretty questionable and their secondary can be beat deep.

Buffalo would have waxed them if Josh Allen had any accuracy he missed dudes wide open downfield about 8 times in that game.

Same thing last year. Chiefs played on Saturday and Patriots on Sunday. I believe it’s designed to give the #1 seed an extra day of rest heading into conference championship game.
