If both Buffalo and Cincinnati win their week 18 matchups you have to argue that one of them should have had a winning result from their scheduled game. This would’ve pushed one of them into the number one seed bumping Kansas City down because of tiebreakers.

This is really, really dumb.

You don’t have your math right. Please stop.

My post is based off a scenario Where Buffalo and Cincinnati do not get a 17 game season in.

If they do, it sorts itself out as it would normally.

No, that is not correct...only if Buffalo wins. Cincy has no shot at getting the #1 seed if the Chiefs win.

Honestly, the NFL is probably just rooting for the Pats to beat the Bills on Sunday--that makes everything moot. They can declare the Bills/Bengals game a tie and move on--KC will have earned the #1 seed by have a record (14-3) that neither Buffalo or Cincy could obtain by playing their game.

Except they would have only played 16 games. The players have always been vocal about their dislike of a 17 game season. Why does Buffalo and Cincinnati get a pass while everyone else has to put their players on the line for a 17th time? They have to play this game and let the chips fall where they may. They shouldn’t have one less game’s worth of injury risk or wear and tear because of an injured player.

I’m not a believer that the NFL is rigged and think the talk of games being directed or steered by officiating is dramatically overblown.

But I am very comfortable saying the officiating will be against us this week like never before. It just is what it is.

You just said if Buffalo and Cincy win their week 18 games that one of them would’ve had the win from their head to head matchup and taken the one seed.

This is categorically false. Stop.

Why, because they had earned it.

Wasn't the Bills team a big factor in not continuing the game?

Option 1: replay the game
Option 2: the game ends in the score the league stopped play
Option 3: go pound sand

are you reading the same board as me?

theres many threads and none of them are what you say they are

I agree with that… Buffalo should be forced to forfeit yesterday’s game and get the loss.

And that’s all I am asking for. If they don’t play then they forfeit and get the L. It’s that simple. It would not be handing KC the #1 seed as they had consequences for their decision. They made their choice and have to live with it. If they don’t want the L and lose HFA then they need to earn it on the field just like KC will have if they beat LV.

This would seem to suggest there's a lot of money that believes in rigging.

i agree with the logic here

i mean its harsh but if it is "all about Demar" then the Bills ought to be the ones leading the way and walking the walk

The Raiders are the third most penalized team in the league.

Please explain why Cincinnati who would have more losses deserves to jump KC?
