I think that was meant for the Donks/Dolts thread, but Red Dawg is kind of special, so just humor him.

I'll take "Posting in the wrong thread like a moron" for 200 Alex.

Mahomes has been hit a league high 102 times this year.

That cannot happen. 35 sacks (career high) already with 3 games left.

Veach rolled the dice and it didn’t work. I get why you try to draft a LT because it saves your team $100M over 4 seasons but not going into the year with the knowledge that you have (at least) a competent LT in case your draft pick doesn’t work out immediately was a bad bad move on Veach’s part and one that - after the 2020 Super Bowl - should absolutely never have happened ever again.

Andy may have led Veach to believe they were good with Wanya and Kingsley so he may own some of the blame but the conclusion is the same and you just can’t roll the dice at that position.

Absolutely disgraceful, 100% on Veach and Andy. Mahomes is mobile if he wasn't able to elude pass rushers I wonder where this statistic would be, like if he was working with Peyton Manning-type mobility??

You save $100M but you’re also losing value on Mahomes when he’s not able to play to the value of his contract because you went cheap on the line.

And when Mahomes doesn’t play to his contract that branches out and subsequently forces the pass catchers not to play up to the value of theirs.

Tackle is worth the investment. Plain and simple. Save money elsewhere.

Idk what they can do at LT. It’s Cam Robinson or trade a metric **** load of draft picks to move up for a lottery ticket LT while letting the team get worse due to less draft capital.

Really difficult spot to be in

Except they're already paying Thuney, Creed, and Jawaan top dollar. In no way have they gone cheap with the line.

They've tried to acquire a LT ever since Fisher retired. They've used a lot of resources to do it, especially the OBJ trade.

It's almost like finding a good LT is hard or something.

And a good RT for that matter. They were pretty damn lucky to have Schwartz & Fisher on reasonable contracts in those days. Unlucky to have both of them suddenly unavailable. Very hard to get solid replacements for them.

I really wish they hadn’t resigned Creed.

You can find decent centers a dime a dozen. Not great value that could’ve been better allocated elsewhere.

Veach could have overpaid in draft picks and moved up and got a tackle. He went the path of bargain hunting a 2nd round pick! While grabbing Worthy was great, I'd happily give up him PLUS extra pick/s like even next years 1st to move up into the teens and grab Olu Fashanu(#11 would have cost two 1st and then some but still very doable) Taliese Fuaga(at #14, would have cost that years and this coming years 1st), Mims(at #18, again very doable), Troy Fautanu at #20, and even guys like Morgan or Guyton. Or DAMN even just trade up in teh 2nd and get guys that graded out much better than Kingsley like Patrick Paul and Blake Fisher.

**** believing that Veach didn't have options. Just decided to roll the dice and be cheap with money AND Draft picks!

At this point after two SB wins in a row he should have looked at the biggest need, PROTECTING MAHOMES....This has already lost you a SB, and spent what ever cap/draft picks to lock up his blind side!!!!! NOT ****ING GAMBLE OF A ROOKIE AND SHIT TARD MORRIS!!!!! **** Me MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone

Everybody wants to blame Andy and Brett for the O Line woes but I would think that they had discussions with Mahomes and he had a say and he probably said he could play around it. He's the guy making the big buck$?

Hopefully DHop saw Patrick in 2022
