I'm actually kinda intrigued on how Geno will play against the Titans. That's a decent defense and he struggled against the better defenses in college.
It should also be interesting to see how Alex does against the same defense shortly after. |

Very interesting, indeed. We will watch with GREAT interest. |

You guys have gone to great lengths to say that Genos wins came because of his defense and use 3-0 as every argument towards propping up KC. Average starting field position combined with points scored is a great indicator of how effective an offense is at scoring points on their own volition. True or false? |

ITS NOT AN OBSESSION WITH GENO SMITH, DUMBASS. ITS AN OBSESSION WITH WANTING A FIRST ROUND QUARTERBACK DRAFTED BY THE CHIEFS OVER TRADING/SIGNING SOME OTHER TEAMS LEFTOVERS.
|
This really is the CP Perfect Storm.
Geno is 2-1 and the Chiefs are 3-0. I do expect massive separation soon. |
Quote:
Dude thats not very smart. Just saying. |
Quote:
Hmmm, why no interest in EJ? He was drafted in the first. |
One thing's FOR SURE.
That whole predraft argument of "there are no quarterbacks worth a first round pick" is destroyed. RIP |

Truth be told, I thought NY was the absolute worst place he could have been drafted for every reason under the sun...I'm surprised he is doing as well as he is, given the circumstances. |

So about half of those yards are attributed to Smith, doesn't that pretty much put the lie to "he cant throw to a covered guy". It doesnt really matter in the end anyway, some people are happy to see what Alex and Andy can do, some will always be disappoint no matter what because of what could have been with some rookie. I hope you can find some fun this year, I know I will. |

Geno has some nice throws but he's a 1st Rd QB? You may be right. Wait until there is more film on the guy and defenses adjust. Will Geno be able to adjust? |
Quote:
I cant imagine there being any since we didn't get ****, it'll all be a miserable fail without him for the next decade, what ****ing fun is that. |
Quote:
Also, we're completely oblivious to the rest of the NFL, or something stupid like that. |
Quote:
LMAO BTW Geno was a 2nd rounder. |

Right or wrong? |

Your reading comprehension and understanding of the discussion as a whole has always been terrible. |

You won't find a post with me saying I wanted Fisher, except over Joeckel. |
Quote:
You are proof positive that there are people obsessed with winning "my way" vs winning. Yes Geno has played better than Fisher 3 games into their careers. **** I guess we are screwed. |
Search my posts back before the Chiefs traded for Alex.
I wanted Geno. I don't hate Geno at all. I just wish you guys would let him go. Scorned lovers... |
As I have mentioned before, this Geno stuff has a lot to do with being right.
|

I have hundreds of posts detailing how I wanted Alex AND Geno. I even wanted Geno to sit this year and learn behind Alex. |

Since you've never really had anything to say to me until now, just go ahead and put me on ignore you fatheaded frontrunner, BOSS. You aren't in charge of ANYTHING, BOSS. Ignore, do it, BOSS LMAO |

Great, solid point. Tom Brady had guys drop WAY more passes than Geno that game. Your 3-0 argument was ****ing awful. |

No. I mean that you guys want so desperately to be right.
I'm not talking about the team. I'm talking about your egos. |

Most of us that have the balls to offer our opinions before a mass perception has taken place, stick to those opinions because we formed them through our own digestion of information. That doesn't mean we don't watch the Chiefs game these guys chose to put together and get excited, but with different parameters. |

BCD, Marcellus...do you guys think this team would still be 3-0 with Geno instead of Alex?
|
I don't think we would have beat Dallas with geno.
But I think Dallas is a lot better than most people around here |

What did Alex do that was irreplaceable by what Geno has given his offense in terms of moving the ball and scoring points? |

He also didn't turn it over against the cowboys, who's defense, especially dl is pretty good this year. |

Yeah. That didn't look right.
My bad. |
I'm not he iPad, but iirc, you yourself said that Alex was a big reason we won against Dallas and he played a good game. So I'm not totally sure where you're coming from not his one.

Without a single doubt no ****ing way. I just rewatched the Eagles game. What screwed the offense was penalties on the OL (6 of them), dropped passes early, and an unbelievable ability to not convert 3rd and short with the running game. Hell we were good on 3rd and long for the most part. Yes Alex had a few WTF moments. Maybe 2 or 3 out of about 72 plays. And the pass Barwin could have intercepted which never happens when you hit a LB in the gut when they jump, it was whiff by the OL. |

I asked if we could have had an equal amount of wins with Geno. I think we could have. |

It's somewhat misleading in the header, geno has thrown for 3 tds.
He does have a rushing td, but Alex has been much better overall rushing the football from the pocket |

Charles could average close to 7ypc and Bowe would go off. |

Alex has 23 carries for 113 yards Geno has 13 for 78 and a td Geno averages more than a full yard more per carry. Also, Geno averages about a yard and a half more per pass attempt, too. |

I'm curious about he pro geno guys. If you were the Gm and he did to you what it was reported he did in interviews, partnered with his on field play, would you have drafted him first overall?
|
It depends. Those reports weren't very concrete or specific. I doubt he was actually texting DURING the interview. Likely it was before and after, and it got blown out of proportion.

Those aren't designed runs. I'm actually impressed with how little Geno is running. A lot of young guys who run a 4.6 would just take off more. |
What about geno taking sacks?
|
JFC...It's not like we screwed the pooch and passed on him at 1.1 and then another team picked him up at 1.2....EVERY TEAM PASSED ON HIM UNTILL THE 2ND RD
|

Rushing first downs: Geno - 5 Alex - 4 Most of Alex's scrambles are little 3-yard nothings because he's scared to throw. |
