I mean are you going to say Everson Griffin is a bad football player too?

I was not. I was talking about you. You were COMPLETELY WRONG about Medlock. I was correct. You are a know it all fool who cant admit when you are wrong.

You could see the break just above the ankle in slow mo.

Best22 09-30-2018 05:00 PM

Trading for him, and then having him get hurt would've been disastrous

arrwheader 09-30-2018 05:00 PM

Did we dodge a bullet?

TwistedChief 09-30-2018 05:00 PM

Clearly this sucks for the Chiefs who were the frontunners to get him, but in past years the 'Because Chiefs' moment would've involved our giving up a 2 and a 4 for him and then his suffering this injury in his first start for us. So I'm going to say things are looking up.

RealSNR 09-30-2018 05:01 PM

Well, we’re back to praying that Eric Berry can get on the field somehow.

30 is not old for a guy like Earl Thomas.

I was actually thinking this morning about if he gets hurt. I figured that wasn't likely though.

Again just for story sake I'd love to see how it plays out if this is just a 2 week injury. Seems incredibly unlikely but still would be interesting.

So we should be able to get him on the cheap now, right?

CupidStunt 09-30-2018 05:12 PM

The result is really shitty assuming he's healthy to be traded. AZ missed their FG to take the lead, SEA of course kicks a FG to win. The more they lose the faster they'll want to trade him away. Although maybe now he'll just hold out altogether. Assuming once again he's OK.

Seahag got the win, but Thomas may have gotten the last laugh. He'll get paid regardless. And if he's untradable this year, he'll sit as long as he can and go to the highest bidder next year. Meanwhile, Hags lose out on draft picks for being greedy.

I mean perfect world would be the injury, ET flipping them off, and him then being healthy enough to be traded in a week or 2. The latter is not looking good though.

Russell Wilson is leaving after next season. They’ve sniffed around Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes and his agent called them out on it.

On the bright side, this dampens his value and anyone's interest in trading for him.

We could essentially keep all our picks AND get Thomas for cheap during the off-season.

But of course everything depends on what his injury is.

I don’t know if stupid is the right term to use? I’d say they’re being greedy more than anything. They know the Chiefs are desperate, so its their way of trying to pry the most they can get from them. I think its just an act of human nature. Props to Veach for not giving in.
