Re: shotguns above - I have 12s and 20s, and like the 20 indoors for a reason. Mas Ayoob has some thoughts. http://www.backwoodshome.com/articles2/ayoob120.html

I have this gun in .40
It was my first handgun.

I have had problems with the extractor on mine. Been replaced twice, think it may be on its way out again.

The trigger pull is heavy as hell but it gets lighter after a few hundred rounds.

Mine was nice and broken in, then i sent it back to s&w for an extractor and they put a new trigger in it too. Assholes.

Yesterday at the range the front sight fell off. Its just a cheap piece of plastic that they melt on the inside to hold it in place. So i spent 30 bucks on a fiber optic glock front sight that i am going to make fit.

Also had my cousin put black chrome on the slide since he is a manager at a plating shop. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04...c3ef362ef4.jpg

Is that a light/laser combo? How do you like it? I'd like to find one that doesn't stick out past the end of the barrel.

Just a light. The sigma rail slots on the frame are proprietary. You have to use a picatinny adapter which is why it sits so low. And i dont have the light slid all the way back cuz it sits poorly against the trigger guard. Its a good light though. Had the same batteries in it since i bought it and its as bright as ever 6 years later.

So, starting July 1st Kansas will not require any training nor permits for concealed carry.

Thoughts?

Made the reloading leap.

Purchased a Lee Classic 4 Stage Turret. Like this: http://ads.midwayusa.com/product/785...ess-deluxe-kit

Seriously consider buying a used Dillon XL 650; but the thought of $1500 even before I made my first round seemed excessive.

Now begins the fun journey of learning what equipment and ammo components to buy to make 300 AAC blackout.

Looking through slickguns.com and gunbot.net for stuff.

What the best tip you can provide to save $$$, keep me from blowing up the AR, or my house??

Where is the best website for equipment, tumbler media, comsumables, etc?

Thanks

If anybody buys a Keltec KSG, make damn sure you have a solid grip on the forearm before firing. In other words, don't be a dumbass.

Nasty hand injury. Possible NSFW. Do not look if you have a weak stomach.

Without getting political, I'll just say that I fully support constitutional carry.

I would prefer them to require training but make the classes free and just have like a $10 charge for the permit..or something like that..similar to getting your driving license..study up take a test pass it get a little card

The only reason I feel that way is so people carrying know the law and don't get in a lot of trouble for carrying someplace they aren't supposed to or using it in a situation that might get them into trouble

I agree. According to this, any fool can buy a gun and just bring it wherever they want? I knew some guys in college who I wouldn't want carrying a knife or even a friggen pointed stick let alone a hand cannon. Or some shit-scared person who buys it for "self-protection" but never used it on a target range or knows proper safety and handling.
