Heh, morels. Surprisingly, I have never done "magic" mushrooms.

One of our driver from Indy hunts those.... sells them to stores and makes pretty good money he claims...

You gotta know what you are doing in that business, the wrong mushrooms will kill you but I am sure you know all about that and how to properly identify them.

Oh yeah, if you can find a lot of them you can make some good cash. I'm happy if I can find enough to have a couple decent feasts on them.

As far as identifying them, it's not a problem as they are very distinctive. The problems come with people who have no idea wtf they are doing and they go out and pick the toadstool types like they see in the store. Bad news right there.

After this 2 feet of snow we're getting tomorrow, I'll take anything summer related!

RE: my tomato post. I literally went and bought some really good multigrain bread from whole foods for forthcoming BLTs. They are going to be amazing.

I love tomato season. I'm going to eat these things whole for meals. Slice em up, add salt and pepper, maybe some sausage and bleu cheese dressing.
