Here is my take - KU wont go 10-2. That is some good drugs you are on to think that. If Mizzou doesnt win the North this year, they are screwed for a while, mainly bc I think if Nebraska gets it they will be back on top for a while.

However, if Nebraska wins the division this season, then the recruits will keep flowing in because they know Callihan will be there for awhile, and then it could get rough for the rest of the teams in the North. I like what Pinkel is doing at Mizzou, but in reality they can't keep up with the Huskers if they're running at full steam. Should be a fun season! |

I guess I'll agree with you - until Mangino can get his team to start winning conference games, it's probably safe to line up 4 patsies right off the bat. |

Still, we would go undefeated or 1 loss in conference after that. Until Mangino can go .500 in conference, it's probably a safe bet to continue scheduling like this so he can guarantee a bowl game and keep feeding his apologists with excuses. |
They won't beat Iowa State

BWillie007, I think you're predictions are little nuts. KU might end up with a winning record and make a bowl, but I haven't seen enough to think that they can win 10 games. That being said, I don't see them losing 93-10. I see the game at A&M as a loss, but not by that big a margin. Also, we play Nebraska at Lawrence this year. We beat the Hell out of them 2 years ago in Lawrence and played them into OT at Lincoln last year. No way does Nebraska win 63-0. As a matter of fact, I think KU has a good shot in that game. I think KU will lose at OSU, though. The rest, who knows.
Saul, KU also had not beaten KSU in 11 years before the 2004 season. Last I checked, KU has taken 2 out of the last 3 from KSU. That streak you mention won't be around much longer. ;) |

I find it comical when a KSU fan makes fun of KU's weak non-con schedule. KSU's non con schedules were just as weak as KU's is this year. Anybody who says otherwise is most likely a KSU homer.
By the mid to late 90s, KSU had become a powerhouse program. They should have been scheduling strong opponents. Who knows, maybe it would have helped toughen them and give them confidence to win a title. |
I think 9-3
